It's Mays turn in the spotlight this morning after Boris's 'chuck chequers' barnstorming' speech yesterday that thrilled the audience, not televised by the BBC (no surprise there), who preferred to waste viewers time by concentrating on the reserve team of 'who they' ministers.
Of course the party faithful will be out in force for her speech where hopefully she will concentrate her firepower on Corbains crackpot economic policies which will turn the UK into a Solzhenistyn-Gulag Archipelago or worse.
She needs to identify and promote a tax cutting policy, cut the reams of EU red tape, reduce / cap fuel duty, start realistic house building, tax Overseas Co's evading UK tax, cut taxes for small companies, stop throwing money into the vast pit of the NHS administrators pension plans, boost enterprise schemes for the young in the high tech of the future, scrap the guzzillion $ H2 rail link and do something about crippling business rates. That can only be achieved by a strong economy, not a Venezuelan give away much admired by Corbin acting as his puppet masters tell him.
It cannot go any worse than last year's shambles, the crumbling backdrop, losing her voice and a protestor invading the dais mid speech.
From what I've seen and heard the party will give her the benefit of doubt today and she will come out of the week just in front or at least level par. Thereafter it's anyone's guess.
Morning all.
