It was all quiet on the tech front, gaining just 11 to (7035), Apple up 1.22%, the 500 up 6 at (2616) where expected resistance is seen at 2640
according to the tech boys.
Helping sentiment was news that 8/12 Fed Res districts report modest to moderate growth ytd.

The shine was taken off Asia stocks as news broke of US probe into Huawei for stealing trade secrets which will no doubt add to trade tensions.
Huawei is owned by its employees and has no publicly traded shares. Hitachi meets today to resolve the future of the nucleur power plant in N.Wales.
Late on TK was down 41, HK up 98 and SH adding 12.

In NY a tech rally led by Netflix (+6%) Msoft up 3%, Apple +2% pushed the Dow up 156 (24066) and the Nsdq gained 118 (7024). Q4 nos from the banks didn't stack up, JPMC posted tepid earnings and W.Fargo fell 1.6% after reporting lower nos.

In Asia trading is subdued TK off 126 (autos and financials lower), HK down 67 on weak properties and SH u/c.

Doubt she will get any significant concessions from Brussels. She's fannyed about for 2 bloody years running down the clock. The 230 thumping tonight serves her bloody right! I dont believe a no deal is the catastrophe remainers say it will be.
This country has great companies, great entrepreneurs has been a great trading nation since time immemorial. To suggest the roof is going to fall in overnight is utter rubbish. There's a big wide world out there who would trade with us given our island status.
Why not another Singapore?

Hasiba one thing you can explain is the mrkt never does what you expect it to. I have given up trying to fathom mrkt reactions. I doubt other stocks in this day and age arebany more reliable given one is dealing with fear and greed and rarely common sense. One has to re-think most of what you knew about invstrs intentions and the shorters infecting lse. Although i called 198 today (hoping for 218) im tuning into the bear track more than the bull run and remember were still c.11% up ytd.
After some quiet reflection G might trend higher in the coming days for after all today was just a snap-shot in time.

The mrkt is great at pricking ones inflated expectations on stocks....though mine have been bearish for a while now....it must have been quite a shock for many pis.... cest la vie! Demain est un autre jour.
