you say we are getting 29p per share ,thats really good news do we get it the sane time as the div ,and will the share drop as it does when it goes ex div or is thie different?i'm holding a few good div but interest on money to buy the shares more than wipes tht out ,still i have traded these a few times lately for smaal profits imo this share will either rise on performance or another party will move in.
why does the rating advise sell when the target is nearly 20% above the share price ?
looks as though there will be another try by carillion to force the issue
they,re in the blocks ,waiting for the starters gun ...imo
I thought the RNs said their holding had reduced but I,m not that clever at understanding these RNs somebody will put us right
thanks, where did you find this info not seen rns, down a bit today but there will imo be lots of peaks ,before we find out its real value ,i,d be a buyer in the 23/24 range ,my next selling price 0ver 32 ATB.
i still have 1000 shares n/a on my account 187 offer and 813 extra ,does anybody know if i will get all the extras, and when will these be available ?
Seems good
i have to agree with cautious 7 these are a bit of a gamble ,on a very best case scenario they could imo be 20x or more the present price ,but as of yet we are a little in the dark ,tne centrica guy says nothing at the moment can be taken for granted not even all other things coming right ,whether the stuff can be got out profitably ,so i sold some this morning 4000 @ 29.6,still holding over 5000 and waiting to see what the offer brings my account says 187 + 813 extras anyhow here,s hoping.GLA
I just wonder how much public opinion had to do with the position of centri ca also I do agree its not a foregone conclusion that it will be a certanty that the whole thing will be a complete success.
I know we had a recent cash raising ,does anybody know why these are so weak of late are any of its big holders wanting out ?
If what taudelta says is correct then I'm not getting what I thought ,money out of account but bit disappointed ,that I,m not getting the extras I wanted
always thought bg. was more likely than bp. to be the subject of bid/break up ,but what price ?i used to believe it would be £17/£20 i come down a little from that my guess is now £16 to £18 but we have to just wait and see..
at first i was downbeat at the rns but on reflection IMO ,it will mean we are going to see a sharp rise in the div ,it can well be afforded, then the very real prospect of a t/o offer ,my hold ing is a lot less than it used to be but i,m deff not selling any more that,s for sure..
Must be t/o target number one
seems to me all these big financials institutions ,have their hands deep in the hard working mans pockets ,no wonder they can afford such astronomical salaries and bonuses to to chosen few.
so is it really good for the holders? dont shares usually take a hit with rights these seem to be up a touch.
when do they go ex ,?
i dont believe we should take the money and blow it ,but in my case i have grandchildren who are trying to buy homes of their own so when i can i'm going to take the max i can and if need be fall back on income support. i'm no scrounger but ive worked all my life why shoudn't i get a bit back as seahunter points out everyone is doing it ,you have to look after your own in this life as best you can ,imo this is a really great idea why should the insurance industry have our money when we pass on .
Jonvia thanks not quite so good for me ,but looks really bad for aviva and the like losing all that annuity money as we pop away.
