This is now imminent 'just my opinion ha ha!
I hope we don't see rights issue or worse ,
i see andrew gould has just bought 35,000 shares, thats a lot of shares and a lot of money, must feel not too bad about the prospects
i believe your right about they have much further to recover, but they moved about 10% in a short time, sold a few of the ones i bought at the lows of the day, missed the top but a profit is a profit, they still my largest holding and just waiting for the BIG PAY DAY.AT LEAST £18 a share.gl to you.
big turnaround
ANY NEWS
while my holding in these has fluctuated they are now once again my largest holding ,although these are not held for the div imo a nice increase in the div is almost certain ,and this will provive more fuel to the upward trend
how much ?my guess £18+ ,and within 6 months....
couldn't quite understand yesterdays rise, not saying it was wrong as the div is still very attractive ,but i found strange,
these are still one of the best long term buys in ftse, that said i sold a few this morning at 1314,will sell again around 1400 or buy low £12's
just feel sale was being prudent,as stepping down next year still has a lot of money wrapped up with the fortunes of bg.
these are my biggest holding ,just started to buy again after a string of sells,£10 well if they go there would be buy of century ,(barring bp type disaster),they are real one to tuck away £20 more on cards than £10,t/o or major deals on cards ,yes my favorite stock.
watching this one ,great div have traded many times ,hold none at present ,was really out of favour some time ago for couple of years, then rose sharply to £14 from £10 now back on the decline imo under £12 its a buy for the div,not one to make us rich but could be a steady earner.
i did have a big holding (for me)in this company and was trading in and out for quite a while gaining some nice divs on the way,i dont hold any at present and feel they are very vulnerable ,to to continuing downturn ,also their prices are linked to inflation which appears for the present at least to be on the decline, added to this their increased expenditure and the regulator on the horizon ,is their div policy in question?for me i'm staying on the sidelines for now.
bonz i feel the div is not what its about with this share at the moment ,it has real long term potential ,that said my last 3 trades have all been sells ,its still my largest holding.
one of the best long term bets in ftse,£20 within 5 years, div growth should accelerate ,slight concern the gas price ,takeover rumors should create spikes on the way up to allow for trading.
