You may be right ,but there are still a lot of if,s about this co I sold out at 315 and will not consider again above 280

so feb 24 was cut off ,alll these dates are confusing i read it as 27 but dont really understand all th e terms,as for the div from what i could make out they,re going to cut it to 8p or so to take account of new shares whicc will not get the present div but all divs after ,as for thr present price the 319 was false this imo was pushed up over last week or so always big spread so sellinf much lower most of time ,but taking all that and asuming we are ex rights my back of envelope price is 270/280 so a little oversold

they got the document up very complicated cant make out if we,re already ex right or is that tomorrow?

perhaops someone could help on this ,i read the document i dont really understand it ,but it seems tht it is a type of rights issue is it one for three so 1000 you get 333 for 225,and is it already ex right or is that tomorrow somebody with knowledge perhaps can answer thanks .

is this a rights issue or a placing to the big boys and stuff the smalll guy?

which way from here,last time we were at these levels 1080 was a very sticky point to leave behind ,if i remember we kept falling back from this level

sidmadrid your a bit like myself I've held these for many years even sold entire holding right at top 1560 odd ,bought back in again too soon ,then active trading over time made me a few shillings ,but IMO nothing much has changed the longterm outlook is still very very promising they n may have to fork out to cover egypt contracts who knows but at least we can look forward to increasing dividends ,and the very real possibility of a bid or break up of the company.

dsidmadrid, great share to be in at your level,i sold all mine @ 1340 and like an idiot put about half back in @1265 only to then get that profit warning should have seen it coming as all was so apparent ,still not to worry holding now for div not so bad now also a breakup or t/o must be really on the cards now .lets hope.gla

with the share price at these levels the divi yield is not looking too bad ,and rise on the way ,I'm holding on ,wish I hadn't bought back in but can't put clock back so holding and waiting for better times gla.

Now feel its 50/50 that we,all get to 9.80 ,anyhow if we do I will add a few ,results next week IMO a 6% div rise .

against the tide ,i see another downgrade,i now feel it,s 85% certain we will go sub 1020,(not that i@m selling my holding its the lowset its ben since i was buying in the £9 days) ,i'll wait and if we hit 9.80 i.could add .gl all holders

BG.were trading about 1360 before the heavy drop Friday (foolishly got back in then),previous I sold near top 1560 again got back in to early but active trading over time (bought even as low as little over10 pound )made me some reasonable profits ,my point is the true value of the company is not really changed by these short term blips ,although more major things such as the oil /gas price can alter its value I stick by my estimate that 17 pounds at least would be needed to take this co out.

from 1,000 to 1580 ,as for a buyer i doubt less than £17 a share ,

My own position is I will not buy again above 10 pounds ,I looked up my dealing history last trades apart Friday all sells sold Aug 1251,sold sept,1215,then sold remaining @1340.that said IMO you must look. at these more in the exploration catorgary so rating should be far higher than the likes of bp or shell yet they do pay a small but useful divi ,which may still be raised modestly ,also a t/o is IMO more rather than less likely after today's bad news ,all in all those in will not lose at these prices but the wait for payday might notmnbe smooth.

I sold my entire holding after the shell update got 1340 then like an idiot bought a few back on Friday at 1260 still got less than half what I had .will we see sub 1100 today?

IMO shell will soon make a move for BG.

Read RNs thought they would lose about 15\20p shows I know nothing
