Aerial - Lind know EDL is a great company with loads of potential, but can see the people leading it in a different light and they are willing to wait to take the company when EDL cannot make the required payments.

Lind have nothing to loose and an awful lot to gain.

I am still of the opinion that they could not have spent all the £716K so soon as that would just be reckless of management. Anyone with a bit of sense would have keep at least 3 months payments

PI - Not sure RS or the others would take up the options as they cost 1.08p per share.

If we take RS's end or year figures and go by what he has said we end up with the following:-

14k tonnes sold, his own words US$10 -20 per ton profit, so if we say uS$15 time 14K

which gives US$210K profit for 2018 (US$17.5K per month

converting this to £ we end up with APPROX £160K giving £13.3 per month

Nowhere near enough to pay US$46.35K off the loan each month.

If the bod take a 50% cut we would get fairly near the required monthly payment amount.

aerial - it can only fail if we all vote against the issue, as RS need us to vote to allow him to do the issue.

If we vote for an issue then "COME HELL OR HIGH WATER", RS will sell the shares, either to us at top price or to someone else at a much reduced price.

So what do we do???????? Do we believe RS will put EDL to the WALL????? Or is it just a ploy to push through the issue????

At any point they could buy their option shares at 1.08p to show their faith in the company, instead of participating in the cheap share issue.

In the current environment and EDL's SP, would you lend them more money?

How much is left on the original US$750K, and have they reduced their take from EDL??? I doubt that.

WHY does RS want us to decide on the OO share take up prior to the GM? This worries me a lot...

Aerial - I would be more encouraged if the BOD had not acted the way they did, BUT the last thing I want is for them to use this opportunity to increase their Salary again.

Aerial - I am in a quandary as the tone of the RNS is very negative and the timing of it all.

You have to go for the OO before the GM, I would rather have it after the GM, and the threat of them putting EDL into liquidation.

If EDL is in so much trouble you would have thought the BOD would have had the decency to take a salary cut, but not this BOD. They take an increase.

besharp - I would have preferred to have had the decision after the GM, and not be threatened by the BOD.

RS may wait until next Friday for the RNS OR even the day before the GM

I would like to see the date moved to after the GM so that we can have more inf to base our decision, BUT, I believe that Rufus has decided to do it this way so that Lind can purchase more cheap shares.

The discount to the 0.12p that we are being offered, when there are lots of unsold shares? IF THE RESOLUTION IS PASSED?

I am thinking 0.08p

I wonder if they have been buy shares so they have an input to the vote?
