We can safely say this is not mid Q4 anymore - what's happening ?

Appychap - new investor definitely preferable to dilution although I think their pound of flesh will be just as expensive to shareholders.
I suspect we will actually need ( and get ) a mix of both - the devil will obviously be in the detail , how much, from who, for what .
Time will tell.

My original point was that raising £245m in equity would mean selling 7bn shares taking the total to 14 bn.
Add this to funds from a strategic investor and we have enough to build the shafts.
Even with 14bn shares in issue if the NPV is anywhere near expectations ( £13bn - but lets say 50% of that so £7bn )
sp should be £7bn /14bn shares = 50p.
Not as good a return as we hoped, but from here (3.5p) or my average ( was 25.75p but now 15p ), the possible return is enough to keep me here - as well as the fact that I believe the company is a good thing to invest in for many reasons. So I'm sticking. GLA LTH

Just to add a little flesh to the figures
7bn shares £13bn NPV = £1.86 or if 50% risked 93p
14bn shares £13bn NPV = 93P or if 50% risked 46.5p
21bn shares £13bn NPV = 62p or if 50% risked 31p
For my part I can't see there being 21bn shares so assuming no more than 14bn shares a number between 46.5p 50% risked or 93p at £13bn NPV looks achievable, in time.
My average is now just a shade over 15p.a 600% return would do very nicely along with dividends. As always DYOR. GLA LTH.

Hence my earlier post will the sp move if we get the PSA review, licence, farmout sorted - or will we then have to wait for drilling to commence ?

Given the rainy season looms large (again) do we think there is time to actually do anything before then if the PSA review is finished and the licence is granted say 1st week Jan 2020 ?
Does this have any impact on the effect granting the licence should have on the sp ( as we have waited so long anyway and can't progress the farmout etc without it ) ?

One of only two investments in an African country, the other being the 25% owned by Solo/Scirocco.
Its been an education and while I'm holding until both get decent results I will never invest in any African country again. Sad inditement of the shambolic state of affairs that is modern Africa.

loads of buys at 3.49 and the sp just dropped to 3.40 ? Buys for the day about 3 to 1 v sells ( apparently ) .Get real !

At the very least I'd hope for a good 2 or 3 way fight over us - but (far more preferable) that the BOD and Chris Fraser sort out a finance/equity deal quickly !
