On the face of it given todays buy sell ratio ( if accurate ) and the counter intuitive trend through the day downward, it all looks pretty farcical.

Ok so, believing the numbers, 2.5m sells no buys sp up ?

The 1.08 and 1.06 trades are really buys which explains the sp but not the spread.
MM's trying to confuse - again ?

this morning, looks like the market is trying to start at 3.79 but can't get its numbers sorted ?

HL value on the bid so my daily gain is precisely 0 - a tad irritating as the sp is up 0.14 but the bid is exactly what it was yesterday. A spread of 0.228 or 6.42% after it had been much narrower most of the day is ludicrous the market are obviously trying to hold the price at a particular level for some reason.

Have to say the 0.14 spread and evaporating 3.80 is taking the p**s ! Especially when buys outweigh sells by a fair factor apparently.

A 16,67% spread and Ask of 1.05 v Bid of 0.90 is taking the p**s IMO.

Bellers same here. Checked shorts no change reported yet, can't imagine a PI holding (or selling ) 22m shares the loss would presumably be enormous.

The 0.10p drop in the bid just knocked yet another £750 off the paper value in my portfolio and we are now back where we were in September FFS.
May top up but would really like to see a deal done and an end to this bloody nonsense.

Watching for late reported big buys or buys reported after close, which might explain the difficulty some seem to be having buying ?
Certainly some unusual trading, spreads and moves in sp over the last few days.

in assuming that if the MM's had 5m+ shares to sell in order to balance their books they have probably been acquiring shares for somebody and ended up with more than they needed ?
Or are they just being sloppy at their job ?
