Cloudy that bullet we dodged cost me £49k - most of my life savings and pension lump sum.
Sorry but I can't quite see how mismanagement and financial manipulation of the share price costing me so much is a good thing ? Perhaps you could explain that to me and the other 84999 ?

Hi AA HL have now caught up and changed the bid to 1.00 just before close. They obviously like to add a little suspense to brighten an otherwise very boring day. GLA LTH

suits me I'm going into hospital on 17/03 and don't expect to be out before early April so if its not done now (on a personal basis) April or later suits me fine.
Still annoying to see this drag on and on and on though.

So as they value on the bid - once again no real increase, curious that they show a lower bid than LSE though.

SXX shareholfders have offered over £40m for bonds so far. Qatari,s offered £100m bridging loan.

You got to have a dream, to have a dream come true.

Who wants a higher offer ? We want SXX to remain an independent company with a chance to finish the project and reward shareholders in days to come. We also want to consider the future if this inept board. We do not want to give away the company for 25% or less of the value of our shareholdings ! We do not want the board to sail off into the sunset with their jobs and our money taking the company private so shareholders are wiped out.

Means there is no real rise yet. Like trrime my expectation is this should return to pre deal leveks ie around 1.50 to 1.60.
We'll soon know.

Lets hope the wait isn't too long. I'm definitely having one of those "the market can stay illogical longer than you can stay solvent" moments.
Down £49k on SXX and another £7k today on SOLO. AEX aren't helping currently. If something doesn't improve soon my choices are going to be selling up to "minimise" losses (curently about 70%) or risk a total wipeout.

But strangely my portfolio is down £7k on this share alone. Not a good day - although I suspect we all knew it was coming.
Just hope the board have another iron in the fire and they get something sorted soon - otherwise they might start to make Ritson look good - AND THAT TAKES SOME DOING.
