New contracts will create more than 500 jobs across the UK
Two British companies have secured contracts with the government to supply rapid lateral flow tests, which will help prevent the virus from spreading and stop outbreaks from taking hold as restrictions are carefully lifted.

The Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) has agreed contracts with:

Omega Diagnostics, headquartered in Alva in Scotland
Global Access Diagnostics, based in Thurleigh
to provide manufacturing capacity for up to 200 million COVID-19 lateral flow antigen tests, which detect positive cases quickly – in under 30 minutes – meaning positive cases can isolate immediately, breaking chains of transmission.

Avacta "produce" the test sp up 8.80% we manufacture it, somewhere between £50m and £374m worth ( why can't they ) our sp is down 7.11% ?
Nothing like good news to beef up the sp is there.

just looked back over previous RNS's - Seems to me that apart from the drop on 30/11 the holding is pretty stable ?

Seems to be the point from which the sp started to fall.
I had the impression II's are building a holding but that suggests Black Rock have reduced theirs ?
Can anybody confirm ?

ralarcon thanks for that I checked the trends as well and agree.
I actually have as many shares in ODX as I have here and think both have good prospects - but have to admit GDR looks likely to be the better of the two.
Here's hoping it breaks out next week ( and holds ) GLA.
