I think what we all need ( AND DON'T HAVE ) is clarity on the Governments testing strategy.
So far its muddled and is getting swamped by the news on Lockdown Exit.
For example we still don't know how school testing will be done - they go back 1 week Monday 11 days from now.
There is much debate about workplace testing, testing for travel/holidays, testing at home, testing to see how effective vaccination is etc etc - all against a background of coming out of Lockdown by 21 June - which is leading many to think
( mistakenly in my view ) that none of this matters anymore.
What we need - as is often the case, is clear guidance from the Government, joined up thinking and a comprehensive plan and perhaps above all clarity on orders. We have none of those and until we do we will wallow around trying to work out what is happening.

and am quite happy to buy on the dips - as long as the MM's don't just widen the spread to drop the sp and leave the ask where it was.
If you want someone to buy shares dropping the bid and sp without moving the ask is not how I'd do it.
Just saying - I wonder what they are trying to do ?

Couldn't resist a small topup when the news dropped/sp started to rise - needless to say just increased my loss slightly more - but optimistic that the sp will eventually rise to a point where there is some sort of return - even if it is only a smaller loss !

If forward selling is going on then the logical thing to do is wait and see what price was paid and when the shares are admitted to trading ( presumably at a low ball price ) load up on the subsequent drop ?

Testing is vital but home testing especially for children is a serious mistake.
Don't understand why this can't be done in schools ( do they still have school nurses ) ?
If not surely we can find the resources to provide a couple of NHS staff or StJohns etc etc to provide this absolutely service.

What I can't understand is hiw John Deeks thinks constantly undermining tests so there are no tests is better than having tests even if they are less effective than he would like.
50% detection ( or arguably better ) of any number is better than 100% failure to detect anything surely ?

Bushmaster I believed this in November.
I kept believing it despite John Deeks and the BMJ.
I even overlooked HMG's failure to so sort this then, and early this year - but this is the third time they've fumbled the catch.
Bitterly disappointed.

Much as I hate to say it (especially after all the expectations built up) that is IMO a really lukewarm endorsement -
"a key role in the future", "in time it is possible" don't provide much encouragement.
