Shorting gangs, pump and dump merchants, day traders, market forces ?
Absolutely no idea so just watching and waiting.
GLA LTH maybe some semblance of sanity will return after the Fed Meeting, Bank Holiday or whatever else is going on.
Don't think HMG's or the DHSC's cavalier attitude to contracts and debts both moral and financial help either.

I trust the much needed public enquiry will take into account Mr Deeks motivations, actions and the affect they have had on the death toll. Responsibility comes with position and influence should be used with discretion.

Markets open no news sp falls 5 or 6p stay flat until a series of positive tweets late pm.
Sp rises 5 or 6p to close flate while we wait ( and wait and wait ) for firm news of sales and contracts.

Last time I looked we were doing much better -what happened ?

Manufactured drop over lunch, several large dummy trades shown as an excuse and now a 0.50p 3% spread to hide the return to pre lunch levels.
Not taking any notice.

It seems to me that the DHSC, companies unlucky enough to be reliant on them for orders ( think ABDX, ODX and NCYT, ) and by extension the public are waiting far too long to get these tests into use.
The slapdash approach of the government and DHSC, reluctant to honour contracts or pay bills is materially impacting on companies ability to manufacture and trade to a point, given the current situation, that is verging on criminal negligence.
Captain Mainwaring and his troop spring to mind. Not a pretty sight to witness.

Maybe the various companies awaiting payment from DHSC should organise a consortium of their own to demand it ?

As were Ncyt and others. The one constant here is the appalling behaviour of government bodies towards the companies they want to help them. Ultimately that reflects on us all ( the public at large ) and is a very poor way to run a response to the pandemic.

presumably they lost a fair bit ( I hope ) and will get out.

Topsliced today to take my remaining small profit and add to my NCYT holding as it seems to be moving in the right direction.

Great excitement especially as GDR and NCYT have put out good RNS' today.
Sadly another Director getting more shares.
Thats 4 RNS's in 1 month about something which needs reporting but is not related to the news everybody is waiting for. Here's an idea - why not organise all this stuff and deal with it in one go one RNS instead of 4 totally non relevant ones ?
Did these fellas ever go to any kind of business school/school ?
Do they have any idea of how a business should be run ?

I thought this was in interesting piece of info - copied from AVACTA's RNS issued today
" On 8 February 2021, we established a commercial partnership with Mologic following several months' collaborative work to provide Avacta with a faster route to market for the lateral flow rapid antigen test by CE marking it for professional use under Mologic's existing ISO13485 quality system. The CE mark will then be transferred to Avacta after it receives ISO13485 accreditation, which is expected in April 2021.

· The collaboration with Mologic also provides initial manufacturing capacity with the benefit of a short set-up time for the lateral flow test with Global Access Diagnostics ('GAD'), in addition to the agreements with BBI Group, Abingdon Health and others, that will provide manufacturing capabilities that can be scaled to several millions of tests per month."
