Haven't most markets hit several record highs recently ?
How do you grow economies to recover 10% or more lost GDP without inflation ?
If our economy shrank last year by 10% (to 90% of 2019) to get back to where we were 2019, don't we need 110% (vice 2020) this year ?

Hi Steve agreed - even sold a few more AEX & SCIR to fund the topup - now holding 75000 so just behind you.
Happy to wait for the drills and see how it goes. May add a few more if GDR and ODX ever wake up.
Interesting times ahead - (and not too far off) unlike some others I've mentioned.

it seems there are either
1 a lot of day traders or
2 a lot of impatient shareholders
volume is not exceptional and it seems most shares sold are being bought.
So I favour a third group - investors who are buying all the shares sold and will fairly soon reap the rewards outlined by D Minchin just 3 working days ago. Another small top up for me today. DYOR no advice intended and thanks for the shares.

Time to top up ? I think so.

and I'll be able to top up and average down ( I'd rather not ).

Ever noticed how the DOW opens down, or opens and drops almost every day, wiping out any EU & UK gains then rises ( setting new records several times in the last couple of weeks ) while we fall for it over and over again.

The “markets” have been doing this every other day for a fortnight.
Ignore it.

Expectation not “exoectation” - why would auto correct do that ?!

Here we go again - how many days is that now 3 out of 4, 4 out of 5 ?
Taking no notice but may add more ( again ) if I can guess today’s bottom, in the exoectation of a rise into close ( again ) getting boring.

Attary true but only after the DOW had hit a leftest new high for about the fifth day out of 7.
Presumably the US markets were reacting to the ransom ware attack on the East US crude pipeline, but I'm still struggling to get my head around the fact that while various markets are recording one high after another many of the big investment funds have lost money 6 days out of the last seven, despite 2% or 3% gains across most markets, in that time.
It’s a funny old game.

One thing this pandemic has highlighted is how painfully slow the various regulatory authorities and governments ae to react.
Apparently going top speed in an urgent situation ( you would hope ) means taking a year or more to make decisions?

No need to hurry is there. Only taken a year so far to get no result. Not like there is a pandemic or anything.

seagull all too familiar. It’s the same buying or selling funds with them. If you buy and the orice gies up the order never seems to filled before the rise. If you sell and the price goes down the sale always goes through before the price goes back up. Funny how that always works in their favour isn't it. Also HL bid is always lower than most others while the ask always seems to be a little higher. Their service is also deteriorating with no recent trades data - starting to think they are struggling somehow.

Looks like 2 or 3 sells of about 100,000 shares went through about 10:30 - 10: 35 with another 200,000 could be either a buy or sell.
Warrants being sold, somebody dumping ? Any opinions ?
Not selling, hopefully just short term noise.

Unfortunately just the latest in many many there will be news tomorrow moments with ODX.
I'll believe it when I see it which, at this rate, will be some time long after it matters any more.
Holding and waiting - and wishing HMG would let the company release a news and that if/when they do it’s done properly ( via RNS ), clearly and not immediately watered down by conflicting, confusing unnecessary rubbish via tweets.
