Heres hoping 1AF2 a seperate entity to SYME, will use the loan money to invest back into SYME and not used for other purposes. The risk is 1/5 SYME has just been used to bank roll another venture.

However in the RNS IAF2 has pledged to invest those funds in SYME. So time will tell.

We can also conclude that the 'big' seller was not actually ever there as the shares were actually loaned out as security to the 3 borrowers. See other RNS.

A question remains how much was the loan for and were there any caveats?

The risk on the share has no doubt increased as I feel the impact of 2nd wave covid this winter will decide the companies fate.

So bit of a gamble share this now for me, if there is any proven theraputic against Covid-19 that appears in the next month I will be buying in but for now going to stand on the sidelines.

In USA and EU we have the patent but rest of world no.

Alot of it is based on the 2nd wave fears. Donald Trump last night in a speech effectively set in motion plans to stockpile incredible amounts of PPE/Testing/drugs ready for the fall. Kodak has been given a huge loan to set up their factories to produce 25% of USA's common drug ingredients. This looks like forward planning to me that a 2nd wave coupled with flue season will hit hard.

However I think people are placing too much into vaccines here when it is likely theraputics are going to have more impact in the shorter term to the economy in general.

If the vaccines dont get approved then that likely means more lockdowns and high street footfall down. I would expect a continuation of online sales and good for Boohoo SP.

You are correct we shouldn't compare numbers between vaccine and theraputic.

For starters theraputics may need 7-28 doses compared to just 1 vaccine for example.

You are wrong the 2nd wave in winter will be much worse due to flu season, CV-19 will reduce peoples ability to fight off flu and other infections. So the real worry is flu will be a huge killer.

There is a reason the UK government is pushing the biggest UK flu immunisation program ever.

Advice to any newbies invested notice then names of the posters ramping the share. You see the same people repeating the same pattern on LSE with stupid ramp posts like 'more buyers than sellers' 'going to 1p'

Common sense will tell you if all the big investors are selling up at any price they can get and the SP has fallen off a cliff the company is in trouble. They are going to need cash injections from banks/funds who would want them to delist and restrcture shares first )

You never know they may survive and you keep your shares but history tells us the majority of the time you will lose everyhing.

Book mark the board and review ina few weeks, will be a good lesson for peeps.

The nominal value of the Ordinary Shares is currently £0.01 per share and the market value of the Ordinary Shares is below that nominal value (and has been consistently below the nominal value since late 2019). As a matter of English law, the Company is unable to issue new Ordinary Shares at an issue price which is below the nominal value of the Ordinary Shares. It is therefore proposed to sub-divide each existing Ordinary Share into one Ordinary Share of £0.0001 nominal value and one deferred share of £0.0099 nominal value ("Deferred Shares") (the "Share Reorganisation"), thus enabling the Company lawfully to issue new Ordinary Shares.

A billion buys sounds alot but then you realise the share price is 0.07 p :)
