I have read through the new IFN-B P3 trial started yesterday 30/07 and have noted the caveat 'New stages with new therapeutics can be introduced'.

I believe this new P3 trial is possibly setup early to recruit people quicker to the trial saving time. Hopefully Fast Track FDA approval comes through for SNG-001 once the data is reviewed and we will get added to the trial. Several weeks saved in time.

Maybe I read too much into it but I think the P3 trial is ready for us:)

Good find on a new Phase 3 trial using IFN-B. Shows that FDA and Trump are now aware of it for sure and there is a very high chance now the wonder treatment he keeps referring too is IFN-B.

Essentially the trial is testing the combination of Rebif and Remdesivir to see what happens. Rebif (IFN-B) is an already approved drug by the FDA but it isn't the inhaled form.

I can see your point Bosi Trumpy will for sure want an American solution and he wants a quick win for now. However Rebif is owned by Merck a German company so this won't be the all America solution. I think it will become clear that the inhaled version of IFN-B will be the superior product for many reasons discussed already on this board.

I think this is good news as it confirms our theories of Trump needing this therapy politically.

Be interesting to seee what Merck are thinking with SNG001.

We do have an expected worldwide 2nd wave of the virus which many experts believe will hit harder. IAG are planning for the worst which is no bad thing given the current information from governments and the scientific world.

The RI will ensure there is enough cash for the company to last through until next summer.

They hope a vaccine/theraputic/herd immunity is more advanced at that stage.

My theory and hope is as soon as you are tested positive for Covid-19 you are immediately given SNG001 to hopefully prevent any hospital trip and maximise chances of no complications.

From a political point of view the Tories would want to save the news for a rainier day. ie For maximum benefit you would want to announce it if there is a serious comeback of the virus in a 2nd wave.

However Trump hasnt the luxury of time with a reelection in 95 days or so.

Just a note on the IV and inhaled versions of IFN-B.

The inhaled version has strength of 6 UG/0.5ML and the IV strength is around 44UG/0.5ML. As mentioned the inhaled form has less impact on other organs and will have lesser side effects (TBC).

Additionally an important factor to consider is impact to health service resources and how quickly you can administer the treatment. Obviously inhaled form is dramatically quicker.

Without doubt there needs to be more news on the Covid progress considering so many other companies are in phase 2/3 trials for their theraputics.

However Hemo is more than just a Covid play so happy to keep holding.

Nuri the big problem going into flu season is wether you get both covid and flu at the same time.

Essentially covid removes alot of the bodys natural ability to fight of a virus. So get the flu at the same time many people are going to struggle with it and potentially die.

The government are planning a massive flu immunisation program for this reason.
