If 'things were moving' - then why isn't the SP flying high ?

I'm happy with £15, but I won't be in a hurry to sell when it gets there.

It will be interesting to see how the sp reacts when it goes ex-div.

Let's not forget that the dividend it taxed by the Mexican government before it is paid to shareholders.

Hedging at the higher price is more costly and the lenders only care that they get paid and this could lead to a situation where the company dies a slow death.

The big lenders would have a say in the hedging - they would probably decide it.

Kenya can wait longer than TLW, and if it goes to court it will take years and will be costly.

Reading between the lines - Kenya don't want TLW to be involved, some have known this for a long time.

One would hope it is the latter. With the recent payment TLW have literally bought themselves some time. The lack of genuine communication is the real concern here.

The Kenyan government recently rejected a commercialisation proposal by TLW, citing gaps in the FDP, with the main concern being TLWs financial situation. So it is catch 22 - can't get a partner until FDP is approved and FDP can't be approved without the right financial backing being in place......

Azvalor and Sam would need to agree to a T/O and that is unlikely unless there is more to it.

In some ways the company is being taken-over - very slowly until the point that production decreases and the interest can't be paid.

Where are the 'experts' ........

By the time you find out what move RG has made it will be too late for you to take action. Anyhow, unless there is more to it then his strategy has been very poor and costly. As I pointed out, RD bought very few shares with his hard earned cash.

The most obvious way to turn this Co around is to come up with different proposals that could gey the Kenya project off the ground. There is so much scope here.

Sell the Kenya project for $1, on the proviso TLW keep a small amount of production and can incrementally claim back over $1B in expenses - once oil production begins - as per the contract.

Or

Sell Kenya for a normal fee. TLW keep a small amount of production and pay their partners), say $500m out of the incremental payments.

This way TLW increase their production and stll have over $500m coming their way. But they need a maverick deal making CEO, to bring this together.

Or

Do a deal with the Kenyan government - TLW keep a small amount of production and agree a fee to be paid by the Kenyans for TLWs expenses.

Any deal is better than no deal.
