It's the day after it goes ex-div that will be interesting.

If stocksakways dropped by the dividend amount then those that are off- shore who don't pay cap tax would just sell and buy back.

Where do people get this idea that the dividend will be deducted from the price on ex-div day - it is rarely true and if PMs hold up then the div is peanuts. Furthermore, there is an update the following day.

I joined the dots years ago - it's in my posting history. The plan is to oust TLW without paying anything.

Don't forget the JV partners walked away asking for nothing. Just like TLW did from 7 Billion barrels of oil inJamaica.

I had tremendous financial acumen when I called sell at 39p :)

Big business is full of stunts and TLW have had over a decade to sort this out and it could be that TLW 'decide' to walk away.

Kenya don't need or seem to want TLW to be involved and why would then when ousting TLW due to the small print would give Kenya the entire project with possibly paying TLW a tiny amount of compensation.

As for buying Kos out of Ghana, unless it was for buttons then best to stay clear.

If the Ghana asset was to be sold if would be on the cheap as it is an aging and costly field to operate.

TLW have so many options open to them regarding a Kenya deal - but have they got the enthusiasm and desire to get a swashbuckling deal done.
