Afternoon Lockedin, we have gone through our 12p floor and in the past this hasn't been good news because sellers then seem more interested in profit taking than looking to the long term. We also have a large seller in to strength going by the name of dumper dude. My impression is they were cleaned out last month, but any further decline in the SP and they will be able to restock and go again. If you are looking at short term profit taking, you may want to take a wait and see approach. If you are going to be (sensibly IMO) a longer term holder, 11.5 / 12p is still massive bargain territory and not worth missing the boat for. We are awaiting upcoming news re Ghana/Guitry imminently and are about 7 weeks away from when the 2016 accounts are released (based on last years timings) and that will include our first divi payment. A special divi / interim divi has also been mentioned, presumably around this autumn, based on H1 performance.

Morning rugs, yes Lincoln also mentioned about MP Evans and KLK M&A. It's worth noting that since the offer by KLK was rejected, a subsidiary of KLK has been buying up stock from the open market. This is good news for us as there was a significant bounce in DKL at the time of the bid announcement. FK1, indeed hopefully we can maintain this current floor around 12.5p+ until some more news appears. Anything less and sellers start to get itchy trigger fingers. That puts us in to spiral back down to 10p which gives dumper a chance to restock. At the moment, I sense he shot his load at 12p on the day of the conversion of capital notes, because the following day when the divi was announced, there was no mass dump into strength.

Afternoon tricky. To be honest, I see anything at less than 15p/16p to still be bargain territory. There's an argument for less than 20p. Many of us who invested in the 1p - 1.5p range (in old money) did so in to a much more riskier company than we see today. We are now just weeks away from our first dividend from this aim company, yet the stock price is back at square one. OK, we've had (a lot) of dilution thanks to payment in lieu, but this stock is massively under-priced at present.

Morning phil, yes as of yesterday (so take this with a pinch of salt, re further issuing in lieu of payment, etc.) there are 295,995,774 shares. So, sharing £500,000 it's £0.0016892133p per share. So basically, for every 6 shares you hold, you'll receive just over 1p.

Morning fk1, re issuing shares, think we just need to keep pressing them on this issue even if it is falling on deaf ears. Morning f222, I think it's just some trader who is taking quick profits on the upside. They must have the clear knowledge that we are undervalued. Nobody in their right mind would a) hold the number of shares they do unless the above is true and b) sell at these prices. It is therefore in their interests to keep doing what they're doing so that the gravy train rolls on. Buy and keep is the best strategy here though. Indeed trickyhilly. For the record, I hold around 800k at 12.6p

Although positive news, I hope this is the last time we have this ongoing issue with DKL of issuing new shares in lieu of payment.

Because of the expected market reaction to the brexit news over the weekend. I agree the numbers should be positive, but maybe the RNS should be pushed back until later in the week so that any positivity isn't swallowed up by what else is happening?

So tomorrow is looking like a good day to bury bad news and not one to be releasing good news?

Optiva's forecast in July for the year just ended December 31st 2016 (based on 100%, so discount it back to 85.75%) was £5.3 million net profit. 85.75% of that = £4.55 million. Add on the Pound/Euro conversion and you're back to £5 million again. Since then, we have had some developments: A chunk of that (around £1.75 million) has been either already spent (empty fruit press - which will pay for itself within a year / storage tanks, etc.) and the remainder has been set aside (deposit paid on second boiler with balance paid on completion, I assume). So, let's say that leaves £3.25 million net. We haven't taken in to account the debt refinancing yet, nor the current CPO price.

The figures from Optiva Securities (as seen in the video posted on Tuesday) are £7.9 million net profit for 2017 and £9.5 million net for 2018. Figures are based on 100% ownership of the mill and the GBP/Euro being at 1.27 (currently 1.15 so that is in our favour). Lincoln Moore has been speaking about dividends for over a year in the puff piece videos.
