garyn. Its been my concern for some time that Kola's main oil interest is OML30 & he uses all his clout/goodwill/whatever pursing that with the NNPC & minimum (if any) on OPL226.

Been away 2 days, just seen this. I am also in favour of the idea/threat of an EGM - the message has to go back to the Board that shareholders have had enough of being kept in the dark. I have just under 1% so looks to me that we can get over 5% pretty easily.

But its the US authorities that crack down on this scum NOT the UK. Unreal - literally nobody protects us against AIM market manipulation. The key is NFX is henceforth self financing, so we dont need dodgy corrupt brokers to do deeply discounted equity issues to their pals. The good news comes in & the share price rises...

It looks to me like we are potentially stuck in a never ending stalemate. The Nigerian authorities are not going to give the necessary authorisations in any hurry, & frankly it seems inducements are needed to proceed. No inducements = no authorisations. I dont see what gets us out of this situation any time soon, if ever?

Laz. Thanks thats useful info. It confirms what simple mental arithmetic tells us, the company is running out of our money & needs to raise it the only way it can by yet another equity issue. From this perspective the Mozambique exploration is a liability not an asset because at some stage COPL will have to fund its share of the consortium exploration costs - & that also can only come from new equity. Given Arthurs appalling behaviour & broken promises I for one intend to contact the Chairman & strongly suggest Arthur receives half his remuneration in COPL shares henceforth. I hope any forthcoming news is going to be about OPL-226 & not some pump priming gibberish about Mozambique.

We know they are running through their finite cash & whether it runs out in June or July, they are going to have to raise more. Tomorrow is March 1st, and you cant leave a placing to the week or even the month before the bank balance goes to zero, so now is around about the time you would start examining placing possibilities, prepare documentation etc.I wish we shareholders could impose conditions on senior management remuneration, forcing the likes of Arthur to take say half his package as shares from the next placing.

Might Arthur do another video/audio interview if he is in London AND has something to say? Not had the great man speak since last summer.

Well we can 'hope' Arthur is in London for good reasons & I am sure COPL shareholders are paying for the trip. However, the next key event we need is all about Nigeria & getting the NNPC consents. An alternative possibility is that Arthur is in London to start the process of arranging the next equity issue to pay his fat salary & perks for the rest of 2018.

That 175k @ 3.50 was a buy in the 11.00 auction.

So I see Aberdeenman says 'news' is due soon but what news - patents, trials, licensing - IF someone knows news is due presumably they know what type of news, so lets hear it? And when - rampers often claim news' is due but never give a why or when and then 'news' doesn't happen and down goes the share price (bad news for all except presumably the rampers who have exited).

The two RNS's just out say the Irish Stock Exchange has approved the 400,000 shares from the warrants and the new 100,000 shares. So it looks like the Prof has got himself & his allies the full 1,200,000 voting shares he wanted.

We have 800,000 new shares issued (700k +100k)

So if we add up the new votes which presumably back the Prof. We have 800,000 new shares issued (700k = 100k), also today the Prof & Jones exercised warrants into 400,000 new shares. So that looks like 1.2m new shares to vote for the Prof.
