Smith the music labels have a vested interest in the success of Melody, they all have a decent chunk of share ownership in the group. Same scenario as with Spotify. Why would they up sticks with somebody they have been working with and have vested financial interest in, to work with an unproven partner who would be new to the market? The only scenario that happens imo is if some company comes out with some wonder tech that is so far ahead, that they can't not work with that company. And also that that same company gives away a big chunk of shares to the labels, like EVRH have. You could have that danger with any tech company though.
I think with CEEK, the difference between the 2 companies is that CEEK appear to have built up their house really quickly, and their house is made of wood. EVRH are building on solid concrete foundations along with full insulation and brickwork. CEEK will be around for a couple of years, Melody will be around a couple of decades.
