This statement is made from the personal experience I had with an investment in PSION, and the money was paid into the ISA where I held the shares. Millcottage the reason the UK population is growing is twofold, we are living longer and people are moving here. But our birthrate is falling. Covid, it should have bumped off all the over 65's which would have helped the UK economy no end. Housing crisis sorted, NHS crisis sorted, pensions black hole sorted, and on it goes. China thought it was a good idea to limit couples to one child but that didn't work because they were in danger pf having too many oldies. Of course I know where you are coming from.

The bod cannot accept, but can recommend, the shareholders decide what to accept when they vote.
In my view we are likely to see an opening offer of around 40% above the share price ruling when the offer is actually declared. Consequently it would help all small shareholders if the share price moved up in the next few weeks, so that the offer if/when it comes is a premium on that sp. Please discuss. JJ

The weekend press had two important messages for us. One that M&S is doing well on all fronts, in short sales are up. However the second point is that they are selling out of stock, and won't be able to restock in time to supply all of the expanded customer base.
