NICE said it's their prefered option if available. The publications (and previous comments in the NICE documents) make it clear that it simply won't be available to provide the scale and speed required for the stroke marker test.

It's clear from the recent publications that the lab testing route is not feasible... (it's prefered but not a realistic method in this time critical instance)...

Agreed John, the cost savings are clear to see. I think SS was having a cheeky deramp there.

I think the share price will start to reflect the potential as soon as the UK rollout begins properly, so once the pilot for CYP2C19 completes in April and once either Scottish rollout begins for RNR1 or Specialist commissioning is announced as expected in April also. Before April though I'm expected those 5 new NICUs, Scottish rollout and further adoption of CYP2C which will I expect start a snow balling effect with the price. These things would extend the cash runway so I don't think that's a problem at this stage, if we get to April and none of the above has transpired I'll start to feel some concern... but things seem to be falling in to place nicely.

£1 does sound silly but considering market for RNR1 in the US combined with the UK markets for CYP2C19 and RNR1 together is £50m it’s quite feasible the share price would reach £1 on the potential (x10 p/e)

I’d be quite happy with 10-18p though too.

At least £1 imo, bearing in mind by that time we should also have full UK rollout for both tests in the NHS.

Undisclosed so I suspect not very big, will probably need to wait for the results to find out.

It's 18 months actually, they're incorrect... and also that is the max duration it's likely they;ll submit the evidence way before then....

"Whilst scheduled for a maximum of 18 months, performance data can be submitted to the NICE EVA Evidence Generation team at an earlier point if the team believes the evidence generation requirements have been successfully fulfilled. Performance data generated during the programme is also expected to contribute towards clinical performance data requirements for FDA as part of planned De novo submission process required for commercial entry into the U.S."

The renewals this April/May from 9 existing AIHL customers alone will match the total income from last year.

It’ll be their biggest order to date so I’d expect it to certainly move the share price… likely pass 3p imo.

Scottish rollout and announcement of the 5 new NICUs that are also taking part in the pilot, coming very soon imo. The pilot began Nov 1st with the existing 9, so it won’t be long until the others are onboard.

More accurately though based on an expected £10,000,000 income per year for all approx 200 NICUs in the UK… we can estimate the 9 NICUs will bring in £450,000 per year which is roughly 1 month of cash runway.

So that plus the tax credit, and the yet to be announced 5 new NICUs, Scottish rollout and the expected further adoption of the stroke marker test before the pilot study completes in April (from presentation) suggests several more months of cash runway can be added.

Also from that it’s reasonable to expect that around April the company will receive new orders for the 9 existing sites who have been using the test in routine use. The programme has provided them with 6 months of funding starting last Nov 1st.

All 9 were found funding themselves prior to the programme so I see no reason why they won’t continue. This should extend the company’s cash runway an extra 1-2 months.

It was from the funding RNS, which mentions the individual nations by name…

“The programme is clinician consortia-based and will be led by principal investigators Professor Bill Newman and Dr. John McDermott (University of Manchester / Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust), with 14 separate hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Units across England (inclusive of some sites which have already implemented the Genedrive® MT-RNR1 ID test as part of routine clinical use), Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland (inclusive of nine sites already utilising the Genedrive® MT-RNR1 ID test in routine clinical practice). The start date was 1 November 2024 with a maximum duration of 18 months, with sites phased into group 1 (sites already currently using the test) and group 2 (remaining sites). Group 1 site testing is funded under the programme for six months from project initiation, following which funding for continuity of routine clinical practice will be required to be sought from alternative sources by those sites.”

Just deduced it from the RNS… I’ve been trying to find out where the 5 NICU’s are. The evidence generation started in November with the 9 already using it, I’m expecting the others to be announced soon… perhaps part of the Scottish rollout.

3 of the 5 new sites will be a site in Wales, Scotland and Ireland, plus 2 others also taking part in data generation.

The NHS co-developed the RNR1 test and have assured that it is cost effective. Similarly the stroke marker test saves them loads of money. Crucially though, the NHS have to find funding for both as NICE as per NICE guidance.

I think it's surely on the backburner...

Looks like there's a potentially huge pharmacogenetic testing market in Psychiatry, I wonder if this is in the works as an additional market for the Genedrive CYP2C19 test.

There are quite a few other drugs that the CYP2C19 gene affects including including selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) such as sertraline, fluoxetine, citalopram, escitalopram, and others.

As well as Voriconazole for Invasive Fungal Infections.

Clopidogrel is used for Coronary Heart Disease as well as Cerebrovascular disease (CBVD) / strokes.
