I've seen it too, and if you think about it it's not very likely that the MM's would find themselves with 1 share less than they need on so many occasions lol... you would see far more different small number trades (3, 6, 33, 7 etc) but it is more often 1.

From what I understand those really small trades can be found when an MM puts through a big trade but doesn't have enough to fill in one block so say someone buys a million but they have only 999990 left in a particular block then it goes through in 2 trades, one being just '10 shares'. So only MM's can put through those small trades, but saying that I have seen them appear suspiciously timed just before RNS's or changes in trend so could well be a traditional way that MM's communicate with each other on a quick & basic level.

I think only an MM can put through a trade that small... the minimum I can buy through my broker is 10000

...I've been doing a bit of research and found that the wording "Status: Active - Proposal to Strike off" on Companies House is not as worrying as it sounds, it is standard practice for CH to set the status to that for any company that is more than 3 months late in filing their stuff.

I contacted them over the weekend and had a fast reply saying that they should be taking real bets around mid week.

Yeah, reckon he's talking about another company. From what I understand, PET purchased some 3D data that had already been done, they're not actually doing any themselves.
