RE: APC 23 Aug 2015 20:41
@mb11 problem is now, on those numbers quoted from the broker note 10p looks fair price - with nearly 100m shares in issue a million PBT gives a PER approaching 10 by my maths. That perhaps puts 20p round 18 months time when company looks set to break £2m the year ending Aug-17.
I really want to believe in APC I've held shares for a while and averaged down rashly, with hindsight, and not even at bottom it turns out.
I defended APC during the week and I still believe a rash board change to appease shareholders in the short term may be very bad move long term - need to give the BOD a chance to finish the job they started, firmly believe hiking top line is an achievement in itself and a rushed change now might cause more long term damage than it fixes the sp a bit now...
But the cold maths doesn't really support my optimism I feel. And I know that posting this is dumping on the very step I need to exit by but I doubt one more voice will make much difference.
Also I can afford to hold LT so I'm hoping a constructive debate will in some small way move to set the best path forwards.
