Ha yes well as they say anything is possible. It *could* do that. But IMO if this is anticipatory trading what is more *likey* to happen (IMO) is a consolidation, maybe even a complete retrace on the rinse cycle, depending on news flow and what is actually the root of the rise. (If it is a significant new buyer then retrace is unlikely). Guess we'll all have to wait and see. I've called this one wrong enough times the last 4 months nothing would surprise me.

Revenue, top line, represents bottom line potential. It's something to work with on the review rather than looking at the basic fundy formula investors will be looking at earning potential for next year. It's hard to ignore the huge revenue and any closer look at the accounts and information released to date during this crisis gives the impression there are profitable units to be salvaged from the loss. Ie this business is *probably* not looking at months or even years of cash burn to get it back on track. AS threeputt said it is not just profit but "expected profit" into the current FY and beyond. This mcap will be laughable if they can turn earnings amounting to 10% of revenue. Look at some other valuations on AIM and you have double APC's mcap on a fifth of the revenue AND LOSS MAKING. Yet the positive sentiment comes from CEO BS stating what they will be worth when the big contracts start rolling in. How few of those companies actually meet their predictions, because growing revenue is probably even harder than making a business profitable. Getting the contracts signed and delivering on those contracts. All I was saying is that APC has a lot going for it, reflected in the top line, along with a proven track record of profit in several of it units. So pricing it down this far IMO is too low.

Could be many things, including trading in anticipation of the review. Mcap dropped to £7m which is crazy for the revenue, including many profitable business units, that APC has. I don't know how bad the review would have to be to sustain low 7s IMO so anticipatory rise makes sense as there is a good chance the sp will rise so long as the board achieve the basics and trim, or robustly defend future potential, for unprofitable businesses. For balance it could be a big buyer, a leak or even a pump and dump but I'm guessing at this stage just anticipatory. If my hunch is right there could be a bumpy ride to results as mainly traders buy in anticipation. If the main course doesn't come quick enough (for the reactive traders to take the place of the proactive) then the SP tends to drop back, with further bumps possible in my experience of other shares. But am prepared for all scenarios - keeping an eye out for information - rumours or confirmed news

Only last week I was commenting on the volume anomaly and now we have the bounce. All buckled in just in time!

Apologies partly referring to GC's historic problems (IIRC) and partly blindly responding to KaChing's post, I quote "The guy who brought the debt and cash flow problems has now got his feet firmly under the table." As in I didn't question the assertion, maybe I should have, rather merely asked what role RH would have had at GC in creating a strategic problem when he was COO and presumably implementing the CEO's strategy

I think 7.35p trades are all buys - I'm currently being quote 7.34p to buy so it could be on its way down again (also I can't get a quote to sell, even 5k shares). Not sure whether this RNS will push it down further, would like to know whether there are references out there for Hodgson's role in GC's problems - a COO tends to be the CEO's henchman so not sure why blame him for strategic problems at the unit.

No idea whether RH is the right man or this move is good or bad but APC does need an axeman IMO and if this is what it takes to bring some rigour and discipline into the group then so be it. Agree re debt burden etc so will keep a close eye on how this pans out but I'm thinking maybe if it falls further on the bluntness of RNS and lack of information re profit review then that will be the time to do my last averaging down... possibly!

Hello, welcome! Hopefully things are about to pick up here. Mcap ridiculously low for revenues and quite a chunky buy into close (assuming sells still showing as buys as per yours).

No worries. From the trades already and dummies I've placed it's looking like 7.35p to buy, 7.30 to sell this morning. Coupled with lots of mid-price trades yesterday and price stagnation reminds me of a few bottoms I've seen in my years (!). Essentially IMO the mm are split, there's at least one out there wanting shares and another dumping, leading to the tight RSP spread. Personal opinion not advice, GLA

Well it was 18p average over summer, which I managed to increase with string of pretty poorly timed trades that I sold out of soon after to stop further loss as it continued to slide. I think on paper it was over 20p accounting for all trading losses. I bought a few more in the 8s got it down to 14p and plan to buy some more soon and get it near to 11p if I can. Given the fundamentals I don't think 12p is out of the question in the next 8 months or so, which will get me out at a small profit. But do YOR I'm just hoping my luck on this particular share will turn a corner soon

Well yesterday including the delayed trade is almost 660k shares which is almost a week's volume at current average (now 150k a day). I'm just sensitive to these things right now as trying to time my (hopefully last every) averaging down on APC then hoping for a rally that will get me an option for a graceful exit after the shocker over the summer.

Today and yesterday surpassed average weekly volumes - according to Google daily average 140.9k = weekly 705k. 252k today and 456k yesterday. Be interesting to see how the rest of the week pans out

Cheers Vino - agreed on broad assessment of new CEO but as I keep reiterating I think that is not necessarily a bad thing at this stage. As for time frames I do have time, in August I gave myself a year to see where it goes and Jan/Feb is only a couple of months away now...

OK we've (self included) done the fundamental problem to death but, as numerous mention, I think most agree there is a pretty decent core business and it's highly unlikely all the recent acquisitions will need to be cut in the name of restoring profit. Looking at the trading techs from this point a rally doesn't look out of the ordinary so long as the BOD don't scupper it with more crap news. Having called it at 12 and 8p dare I say here at 7p is likely to be a solid floor? Still weighing up my options as I said I averaged down to 12.5p with a few buys in the mid to low 8s and despite all my worries still contemplating taking that down a bit more with the SP down here. I guess my main questions is what does the BOD need to restore some business success. Good ops experience and a knowledge of their market, plus sufficient working capital. Doesn't matter that they seem to be crap at providing decent progress reports and acting at pace so long as they pull it off. So will they, pull it off? And will they need any more cash that they don't currently have? 75% on the first and 66% on the second would give an evens 50/50 chance of winning here AT A GUESS. If they pull it off the SP should get back above 15p AT A GUESS. So if we're in to playing at the casino it's looking marginally more attractive to take the bet than leave it. Apart from the return will probably take 9 months or so to pay out, if it comes. Or is it time to walk?! I know it's bonkers to ask the board but really what you do in my position?

What can I say... Still sliding. Market not impressed with the update - maybe as I noted last week it's the one line missing that was in the August RNS about current funding facilities being more than sufficient. If they are sufficient why not re-state that? And if not sufficient then what a crap sp to be raising funds at. I have no knowledge of the cash position BTW not trying to de-ramp just wondering what is leaving investors unimpressed because, on paper, even if the Cantor forecasted loss Sahid mentioned is correct at a million, there is still a decent business with sizeable revenue and I had expected this to bottom out in the low 8s. (Well yes I expected it to bottom out in the 12s then the 11s so where's the surprise, huh?). Anyway, what a dog.

Don't get me wrong, I still feel there's a great business here in APC. I actually still feel having the "ops guy" at the helm as CEO is also generally a good thing, given the current predicament. My frustration - all I'm looking for, really - is an outwards display of gumption from the BOD. A feeling that there is a sense of urgency and they can't wait to demonstrate to the outside world that they've got something very special at the heart of the business. That's not coming across to me and it's important because to get back to a decent m/c they need to restore investor confidence so that we get more than the traders piling in when the results (both final and profitability review) are out.

Is anyone really happy with that RNS? I may have sounded a bit harsh but I really feel the board should demonstrate a bit more urgency in the timescales for this review. Thanking shareholders for their patience is all well and good but the fact they didn't provide a timescale for the completion of the review makes these words of thanks quite empty IMO. Yes it's good to have confidence that their invoice factoring facility is fixed for another year but to be honest I'd be pretty shocked if they couldn't sort that given the volume of monthly revenue and the fact most of these outfits take a first charge over the invoiced debt payable to minimise their risk. They've rolled out improved cost controls and performance measurement tools. Great. Again if they hadn't done that as a first step heads should roll. What they didn't do is re-state that current funding facilities are sufficient. Yes they said that back in August but now they've had 10 weeks to review their position it would be nice for them to re-state that. Yes I get that they don't want to make another major cock-up in announcing something and then having to backtrack. Better to be sure before going public but they've had 10 weeks to go over their own business and have nothing concrete to offer bar a renewal of their existing invoice factoring facility.

Nothing. Not even a publication date for the review, no updated guidance on revenue and/or profit expectations. It's pretty clear to me at least this BOD have no clue about the perilous situation they are in at this mcap, or the whole company as it will be massive dilution to raise funds *if* they need to (note there is no indication yet, although relying on £6m short term invoice financing agreement for a £6m mcap company... Well.. Absent of rabbit in hat next month I can't see where this goes to be honest.

Well it is meant to follow a set of reasonably standard rules based on how frequently the share is traded, however some with market access conveniently forget the rules when manually entering trades. From memory and am sure the rules changed but there's a delay of 1 hour if (I think) 4 times the normal market size for that stock, 2 hours if 6 times, 4 hours if over 8, then 1 day, up to 5 days maximum. In addition some trades can actually go through after close in the closing auction. And then there are some manual entry trades going through after that, so not retail but other notified trades (of ex etc).

Chairman did say existing cash and facilities were "more than sufficient to support the business" so it is only my suspicious mind and I really can't see they would not be VERY careful what they say in RNS after the mess of the previous announcement. So I'm probably inclined to believe this is a shake by the MM to see how low they can go to trigger stops and pick up cheap shares in advance of the "probably not as bad as feared" profitability report. I've noticed this afternoon they're happy to let it rise again so hopefully just mm games
