Yes I thought so. Guess some PIs just don't want the risk but they raised a chunk earlier in the year should have been the plug they need. Also last CEO went by hoist of his own, one would think this new guy would be wary of issuing misleading guidance ahead of results. Especially as this last RNS was not the only positive news and the cash raised this year should have marked a bottom on the technicals imo

Is this just nerves ahead of the interims?

I'd like to add my voice of gratitude to the people putting effort in at a time I am lacking the resources and free time to help out myself. Fighting back even though our money is possibly already largely or wholly lost is worthwhile - to stop anyone else profiting at our expense, but also in the wider interests of all PIs or all BODs that a disparate group of smaller holders can and will pool their resources to defend our rights! Thank you all involved

It's all well and good to say BnS etc were right all along but that doesn't help anyone in any future situation because these boards are occupied by de-rampers in with the well-meaning few out to warn us off investing. The problem is I didn't read anything actionable that made me think the negs on this board were any more trustworthy than the shorters on other boards. I know hindsight proved right here but I would like to see people who do have actual knowledge of malfeasance find ways to express their intimate knowledge of the situation (without getting sued for libel!) in such a way that is useful for ordinary investors...! (I don't ask for much, right?)

Can only get a quote to buy in 10k chunks or fewer, sell limits are higher but spread (on the book and on retail) is a little wide at the moment. Steady pressure up last few days so wouldn't surprise me they took it north for a short shake or even if the buyer had returned given the pattern seen IMO

The register of shareholders is usually dominated by nominee account providers and not updated for the beneficial owner (or at least it never used to be doubt that has changed) so unless a holder has their own CREST account that register is unlikely to be any use. Either way I think you should be able to order the register online

Shower... BTW it's never too late to take action if anyone felt that way inclined. I hold so little here, lucky I sold down majority of my shares just in time as it turns out, still have a few but sorry for those not so lucky... Anyway it's not worth my time but when this delists (as it looks like it's heading) or ends up being sold for 2p for the next reskin shares are still shares, EGMs can be called, as can a derivative claim brought by a shareholder on behalf of the company against director(s) ( See http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2006/46/part/11 ) Other than that, as per below, what an embarrassment...

Still watching this with great interest. Nearly bought back in the 6s - after the fund raise I think its now odds on to get back in to profit, though still concerned by (a) CEO's reported apparent refusal to engage with investors and (b) lack of any concrete steps taken to improve profitability (ie closures, refocussing, etc). Anyway - kicked myself watching it take off but now it's looking like its being traded? If this is just a trading cycle the chart omens don't bode too well short term from where I'm sitting, the recent 10p peak was enough off the 3-month high to give this scope to drop back significantly before it goes up again - just a view. And yes, the view of someone potentially looking to get back in, so take no notice of me... ;)

Might be easy to get carried away with negativity on this but there are some genuine positives. CEO is taking part in the placing, the reason for the placing is IMO largely apparent (they managed to lose 4.5m in 2015 FY - I think more than anyone here imagined, or I heard any analyst even whisper, whilst most of that is exceptional/one-off/non-recurring and some of it was financed by earlier placing it's still a substantial hole) And, as I've said many times there is still a substantial top line to play with 31m (and yes I know the weight of the top line can just as easily sink an organisation I think here it CAN be trimmed into profit)... However what I am disappointed not to have heard yet is any detail on how the "Chairman's review into profitability" launched last year will yield tangible results in the bottom line. I'd love to hear more about divisions being axed or sold, staff reductions, streamlining - anythying really. Can we assume this is going on, or is RH just burrying his head? My instinct is the former so why hasn't anything concrete been put out about how they are going to knock APC into shape?

Sorry for the extended pain for holders, whilst glad I haven't totally lost the plot and still something left in my instincts... Something in the messaging last few months didn't inspire confidence, the minutiae of the detail and the omission of any mention of cashflow after the initial RNS "more than sufficient" nonsense, plus of course the IMO quite blatant IR/PR drive. I did think the new ops guy as CEO would be good for APC right now but to get here and then drop this can't do much to inspire shareholder confidence... But yes Sahid agree this should be temporary, but this is AIM and once the shorters get their claws in it needs a good war drive to shake them, so this bear trap could last a while, hard to say really. And yes I will porbably buy back at these levels - just a matter of timing, assuming I don't miss my chance...

Or shorts being closed... Ready for the new dawn at APC. So I got one more thing wrong, I thought the results wouldn't be as bad as anticipated and, well for me they were on the poor side of poor. But I did get out just at the right time. The decision now is whether to buy in again - always liked APC as a company, the big questions; is it the right CEO for this phase (always said a good ops guy now needed to shore up) and can they tune that top line into a decent bottom line for H1 results, or for H2 at least? My lingering worry is the lack of concrete actions emerging from the profitability review. No layoffs, no major restructuring announcements, no asset sales??? What is being done? And will the new contract wins announced over last couple of months be significant or just a drop in the ocean? And is the cash position going to last out to profitability? Are they cash generative this month, for instance?

Well another share our frequent poster of positive sentiment was posting on (CHAL) is down 12% this morning... Sometimes if it looks like a P&D and smells like a P&D... Well I couldn't possibly point you to a conclusion...

I'm a bit surprised that the overall loss, whilst not incompatible with statements put out over summer, is on the heavy side - the August statement said: "margins achieved by Minimise Energy have been negatively impacted by excessive freight charges and other incremental costs incurred to meet delivery times on a number of recent contracts"... Also have I missed it or is there anything regarding concrete outcomes of the profitability review?

If it flies I won't regret it - been there enough times, am past all that - and will be seriously deserved by all the more patient LTHs

Should say I still think APC will flourish in the medium term. The summer did it for me but if the price does fall again I may well have a change of heart, after all it will mean I have judged it right this time..!

For the record I sold. I held this for a while, as regulars on this board know I then averaged down with the sole aim of jumping out with a very minimal loss. I could have held till results day but I really think it could go either way. The PR and ramping only indicates to me that the company want to spin a positive message. The devil will be in the detail. Honestly I accept it could go either way - IMO there's a 50% chance the results will be "not as bad as feared". The BOD clearly want them out quickly, but that could be for a number of reasons: get this horrific year over with as quickly as possible or it could be "look, they're not as bad as you thought." The ramping especially makes me wary - let's see how it played out - either way I didn't lose much in the end; and, importantly, I won't be driven in my investments by fear of missing out. Also APC has been a bit of a bad penny for me I never judged it right, so I'm glad to be out ;)
