If it goes belly up - when will that be defined, as it stands we have no progress announced since the further demands from SEMA bombshell - any municipality could drag their feet, the support from the state is nowhere to be seen, I have about a 10% expectation that Amapa will deliver any value to LTH's:

The last raise was in my opinion was a desperate attempt to raise cash without raising concerns that Amapa was in doubt and to keep the dream alive.

I sincerely hope I am wrong but there's zero evidence to suggest the bod are in control - very happy to be proven wrong!

Nothing suggesting this has progressed but interesting that BOC (Linde) and ATCO got awarded the project over Andrew Forrest's FFI -

The South Australian Government has announced its selected consortium, comprising ATCO Australia and BOC, a Linde company, to develop what ATCO dubbed as the ‘world’s largest hydrogen production facility’ and hydrogen power plant near Whyalla, South Australia for A$593 million or US$376 million.

There were 29 companies competing for winning the contract, which includes Fortescue Future Industries of billionaire Andrew Forrest. The Government of South Australia chose ATCO and BOC for their operational expertise and experience in the hydrogen arena.

Good to see Andrew Forrest so keen on the future of Hydrogen, interview in the UK late April and he has tech that's 95% efficient at producing Hydrogen

Andrew "Twiggy" Forrest and Lord Bamford, the chairman of JCB, have collaborated on green hydrogen initiatives. In 2021, Fortescue Future Industries (FFI) signed a major hydrogen export deal with JCB and Ryze Hydrogen, a company founded by Jo Bamford, Lord Bamford’s son.

Under this agreement, JCB committed to purchasing 10% of Fortescue’s global green hydrogen production, amounting to 1.5 million tonnes annually. The deal was valued between £5.1 billion and £6.6 billion per year, marking one of the first large-scale hydrogen export agreements.

I'm a little out of touch, so apologies for those with more up to date knowledge if I'm off on a tangent with this.

The matter of the 3,000 residents has been covered, whoever funds the project is to cover the railroad residents reallocation - but not forgetting the involvement of Pedra Branca Alliance in the railroad may not be the way forward, if I recall KM said in an interview the railroad might be handed over to a management company.

All seemed to be going to plan with SEMA appearing to be in cooperation as announced in September 2023 timescale 12 - 16 months as opposed to the typical 36 months - now we are at circa 20 months.

Cadence Minerals (AIM/AQX: KDNC; OTC: KDNCY) is pleased to provide a progress update for its flagship Amapá Iron Ore Project ("Amapá Project"), including an expedited operational licensing and re-rating of our tailings storage facility.

Highlights:

· The expected licensing timeline for the mine, railway and port at the Amapá Project team has been shortened to 12 to 16 months compared to a typical timeline of up to 36 months.

It seemed be be straightforward and going to plan through 2024, as we have not had any revised timescales this is a concern to me.

Well, this was my post on Nov 11th, so I'm hopeful and if Carney get's the vote in Canada that will be a big wakeup call for Mexico to look beyond the US:

There will be a serious fallout between US and the Mex gov under Trump just on the border policy alone, nearshoring will be nothing like they expected under the IRA.

I can't see the battery investment for the NA market reaching levels where it will need Mexican lithium on top of what will be output through Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil and Chile with the Trump tariffs on imported EV's, for Mexico to have a lithium industry it IMHO will now rely on exports to China and Europe.

Those tariffs will hurt the Mexican jobs, I'm counting the days before Trump insults Sheinbaum and Mexico further strengthens their trade with China.

Heaven forbid and then project 2025 starts to be implemented with the US plunged into years of chaos.

I've been watching patiently, Trump's influence.......................

If Mexico wants an EV and storage battery industry plus a sustainable grid with home grown lithium they really should be kissing China's ass - their neighbour is having a mental episode 'never the like has been seen before' -- BYD are growing stronger by the week...Sheinbaum still seems to be placating the orange clown but I'm hopeful that's just a front -- if so, there's a possibility the ICSID will be settled amicably!
