If there's an abundance of lithium in and around Sonora why is Ganfeng willing to buy out Bacanora - I could be wrong but I believe the leases owned by Bacanora and our JV's are premium based on the geology.

sure @observer842 they have visibilty to future orders, not forgeting Hanwa wanted to be sure the product would meet chemistry needs for ten years in advance and spent 18 months testing to be sure, as I understand so has Ganfeng.

I'll take comfort from Ganfengs interest in Sonora as I mentioned in the week if this was an oil joint buying up an oil junior - kerching for sure -

we just might see a paradigm shift in energy investments, I believe at some point people will view lithium reserves as they do now with oil - that's one hell of an oil field in Sonora.

And the oil major Ganfeng is buying it up!

They want to be the global number one and everything they are doing suggests they will be!

COP26 will see the global focus on the swith from oil to electric transportation.

Lithium prices will IMVHO hit new highs this year

Run up to COP26, I can see lithium prices increasing for months maybe years to come,

2021 has been a year of catastrophic flooding and the global acceptance that climate change is a cause.
