The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
hmm so FTSE has dipped twice this week. What i have noticed is Boo then slight recovered from the first but still didn't get back to where it was before, whereas my other shares recovered back. Maybe that was telling me something its going down regardless of these other forces
Ive sold all my Boo shares in ISA and SIPP. Its just a very unloved share. I just think the media has destroyed any trust or appetite for investors. Yes long term it might make money, but why do that when there are so many other shares out there making massive gains. I already made more on CAR in the last few days that Boo has made me over last 12 months. Its frustrating when on paper they are doing the numbers. Just goes to show its not all about the numbers. If the market doesnt want to buy it doesn't want to buy simple as that
He cant even answer a simple question there is only one thing doomed and thats this chat forum its a waste of space when people like this come on is obvious what there motives are as clea as mud. Like any other company there better it does the more that poeple want to drag it down just because they can and have nothing better to do in their sad lives
Why you act supprised and make such a show and dance about job loses here. Have you got your head in the sand or just a radar firmly on Boohoo there are hundereds of big companies outsourcing jobs in the UK to overseas. I work in IT and i facilitate it with the technology i work on im never out of work contracting doing this. So get off your high horse picking on one company.
so are all the customers of Boo scum then. Do we see the majority voting or even questioning what they buy. Totally ignorant comment. Why are losers like you on this board because you stick your noses where ever they can create negativity. Negativity attracts negativity.
I think you have to look upon it as lag. Its herd mentality. I know alot mock this but take some wisdom from Warren. Alot of the traders get it wrong they jump on and off in blind panic and do not stick to a belief that its true value will eventually reflect. Just ignore what others are doing and it will come right. The main thing at present is the results were good the market is crazy and irational now. But eventually it will stabalise sensible people will look at the hard figures and conclude from there. Give it a few weeks and it will come right.
But on the original comment about buy and hold. You only have to look at ADVFN historic returns to see that its just not true if you held between any of the periods showing up to 1 year ago its positive so its utter crap.

If you know all this why are you spending your time on here. If you know how to invest why are you not enjoying your vast fortune. Last thing i would do if i was sitting on a mountain of money is to spend my time on a chat forum slating a company.
Maybe its all mouth. Saw exactly the same with ncyt the idiots taking it down when it dropped from near£5 back into the £2s. Eventually the true value reflects in the share. With Boohoo its not a case of if its when. The patient will be rewarded.
Yes this is crazy talk on here. So next is when the critics have finished is how about the millions of customers that cintinue to buy the product. Has that fallen i doubt it. How many people buy a product and think about the ethics or if Boos suppliers were paid under the legal wage. The goverment is quite happy to let large blue chips completly outsource operations being carried out by uk based people offshore and them to copletley lose ther jobs. Nobody condems that. We have Boo here having a business that works well because it can ship goods with low lead times from uk companies and all peole want to do is slate it and slam them for supporting british businesses. Yes Boo has aknowledge they can improve governance so why are we still seeing people drag over the same ground. Please lets give them a chance they are supporting british. This sage is enough to stop company in the UK survive as they wikl just de risk and say its not worth it if this is the way they are treated. People critical of this need to stand back look at themselves and say do i ever make mistakes. What do they say about good people in business the one that make mistakes and learn by it. So lets stop this stupity and let the results and the people buy the product do the talking and see where the SP goes with that.
Yes agree with others no great supprise to see a slight drop on good news. Also there was very positive vibes for weeks before plenty of time for everyone to buy in on expectations that came true. We should be thankful the SP hasnt gone crazy and i would say if it remains -5% today that is a great result and now see steady increase over next few weeks.
I've been in this for Months and Not so long ago Novacyt. Lucky i made my money early on with these. I had kept some in SNG up until now and reality is its a complete gamble. Even if there was good news and it started making money look Novacyt, no guarantee at all that it would get anywhere near the valuations people talked about. This fake bubble has faded away.
I have been in this share for some time and made over 20K from it. However the normal rules of investing seem to be at odds. Its easy to build up a good case either way on this share. The conflicting factors for me are long term valuation. We all know its great for 12 months but we do not know beyond that and what the cash will then get used for in the future. The other factor is the greed and fear is a massive play on this share as its now in a hot sector. The problem is the risk of competition is a daily pull on peoples fear and greed. I have had a reality check that this is now like playing a hand of blackjack. I think its a great company and done very well and still will. However what is worrying is even on relatively good news snippets its been trending downwards or stalling. Under normal circumstances that would not course concern but in reality in the Covid19 test world 1 day is like a month, things are developing at a pace.
