Ok one reason may well be as SB has just provided, re a possible increase in CAPEX requirement, inflation, etc, the other reason IMHO is to provide an opportunity for AUS funds to get in either at or ahead of the DFS/DTM.The ASX listing it would appear is seen as being central to SD's growth strategy with more institutional holders to balance the very large share of PI's holdings.

Just to add, financing does not have be raised by placings alone if a successful launch of GS Fintech/Coalculus/UK based payment system is made. It could undertaken via a bank loan plus equity etc.

What makes you think there's going to be a placing, if one was to happen it would be after approval of entry to Sandbox/ and testing perhaps IMO?

As of 30 September 2022, the Company had US$3,334,000 in cash and cash

equivalents (30 September 2021: US$2,749,000. Also, now that we have removed EMS Wiring Systems Pte Ltd (“EMS”), a non-core loss-making business I'm not so sure any placing will be made until maybe later in the year?

So a placing price could well be in the 5p plus region if all goes to plan this year with the FCA, just my own musings.

What I can't fathom out is why interactive investor put a limit of 1.5 times the current price etc , which makes me think they do lend out shares, dam annoying!

Can't do that with interactive investor as they will limit your sell price to 1.5 times the current SP. They also state they don't lend out your shares. Only a few brokers like Freetrade and 212 do lend to the best of my knowledge
