Anovas...Hi, the problem seems to be that the shareholders are not being kept in the loop about latest developments regarding the survey. Possibly because the company is keeping its cards close to its chest to avoid showing its hand to An Taisce.

Why doesn't somebody pick up the phone and ring the company to ask the question:"what the hell is happening about the survey?" For all we know....pvr maybe don't need to make a new application, just file an amendment to the existing one?

I agree with Delboi that a theoretical valuation of c19.9p per share makes absolute sense based on 34.6 million barrels attributable to LOGP and exchange rate of 1.3 dollars to the pound. That assumes the 2c gets converted to 2p.....what it does not take into account is the possibility of a resourse upgrade, which seems like a possibility given the massive extent of the drill program and exploration of the lower levels of the field. The fact that the field is in very shallow water and close to landfall with an existing pipeline to the Inch gas processing facility and potential to bring oil ashore at neighbouring oil refinery at Whitegate makes this an attractive proposition. Wonder if a mid cap O&G company like Cairn might be interested in making a bid for a piece of the action? Financing does not seem to be an issue in a success case as APEC have got deep pockets and have not screwed their partners over with onerous interest rates on the existing agreement....For the record.I have approx 1.25 million shares here and intend to increase to 1.5 million over the coming months. That's true...I've been in touch (off line) with a number of posters here and over at advfn who have holdings in the 1 to 3 million shares bracket. Myself included. Most of us are adding as the months go by. Could get very interesting here in the next few months.

Excuse me for butting in on this conversation. It seems possible that by 8th August the site survey should be completed. Given the statement about drilling start in 3rd quarter, then I would hope that does not mean end of 3rd quarter ( 30 Sept)...so as 8th August falls roughly half way through the time period I would be disappointed if drilling had not kicked off by then, to take advantage of some decent weather conditions! Even with a very fair wind I would be a little surprised if the SP increased by 30p....thats about 6p per month, and we probably won't see any significant growth for the first month or so, or until some more progress gets reported. I livebin hope but I've a hunch Tony will not be collecting his options.

Good idea Wraith! (Keeping them in ISA'S). I've got 25% of mine in my SIPP. I'm buying more over the next few months and I'm thinking I'll drip feed cash into my SIPP and avail of the government bunging in £200 for every grand I contribute. Gives me a 20% discount effectively. Have to admit I was slightly disappointed that PVR is lagging a bit today, but chuffed to see the substantial after hours buy of half a million shares. Should set us up for a good opener in the morning! Keep well!

I agree. Its going great guns at the moment. I did a couple of small top ups this morning. Total around 55000 shares added. Intend to hold the whole lot until the drilling is completed. Could be an upgrade on the quantities ( barrels / scf's). Looks like this is beginning to get noticed!
