Thanks for digging that out. I think that if the Chinese were going to pull out they would have done so by now. I recall that Xi Ji ng Ping made a state visit to Ireland only a couple of years back and did us the honour of staying for 3 days. Trade was heavily on the agenda....so I very much doubt that a government backed company would ditch a potentially very profitable prospect.

Well I don't know how Mr O'Reilly is going to explain away this latest twist in the tale. Last week he stated that today was the anticipated very latest day by which the funds would be in the bank. He's got no credibility at all in my opinion. He's been mouthing bull**** and making statements which turn out to have no substance at all for many years now. Time he collected his P45 in my opinion.

No sign of an RNS so far today, re arrival of funds or permit approval. Surprising....

Looks like today's RNS has steadied the ship a bit. DCCAE need to get their act together now and we should see this start to appreciate SP wise.

For goodness sake Mamms. You are being overly pessimistic. 4x16=64 days. Just over 2 calendar months. In addition to which it is not necessary to have surveyed all 4 zones prior to commencing drilling. It is easily possible to start drilling (say)...1 month after site surveying has begun, shall we say after the first 2 zones have been mapped. This is called parallel working in project management circles. I agree with the chap who suggested preparing a list of questions for the AGM. And details of the proposed timelines are top if the list.

I see that Predator have issued an RNS today stating that they have been granted an extension of their licence at Ram Head offshore Cork.

Hi 1cag. Quite probably. But most likely just a couple of hundred k. So very small beer imo. In comparison to size of asset it's peanuts.

I reckon you are right Hereandnow. It's in bargain basement territory at the moment having fallen back somewhat from recent levels of around 2.7p. I added another 60,000 shares yesterday as I'm expecting it will start moving north again pretty soon. 5 to 10p is aboit my expectation pre drill, bit in the event of the drilling exceeding expectations I would not be surprised to see 15 to 20p.

Well in this case it is not a bunch of people, it is the minister. I sent an email to the department and got a reply on this one. The reply stated that it would have to be "considered " by the minister and they declined on giving me a timeline on how long this "consideration" might take. I would have thought not too long as it has been accross his desk already, but wtfdik!
