It is a fact that the chinese government is curtailing the outflow of capital for FDI, and probably have a monthly quota for funds going out. This is partly because of the shenanigans with Trump and his sanctions. I'm coming to the opinion that that's what is delaying things here.

Yes...The interview is vague about timescales for receipt of funds from Apec. But we don't know when the interview actually took place, hence the wording " after a certain period of time ". It could have taken place weeks ago.

I'm afraid I cant help Chip, but it is all very frustrating and demoralizing for all holders and I feel the same as you...as I watch my investment lose value and no good news coming out of the woodwork.

That would be just perfect. Around 9.00 AM when the banks open and Tony arrives in the office with any luck. SP should rocket once the funds are in and the survey vessel mobilization date is announced.

Emm...I think that most of the follow on costs post survey are provided by an APEC co- venturer. I E the rig and personnel and possibly the support vessels etc (Chinese). So if this ever gets off the ground, then I don't see any need for money changing fron Chinese currency into $ or €. So could be plainer sailing going forward.

I was wondering along thise lines meself. The uncertainty is dragging the SP down. Apec or an associated entity could use this to buy shares in the market as well..up to 3% without notification.

Absolutely agree Phoebus..and why not publish the email contsining the "further assurance" and when was this given ( or was this just verbal over the phone) and why in the name of Jaysus is the banking system holding this up?
