From there being a high 0f 84 to barely 77 just in the first 3 hours is ludicrous and not on trading volume.

You're right but I'm not liking the volatility today especially when it's under 80.
You just never know what's going to happen with this share.

This is what I can't understand, it's not exactly highly shorted, buy volumes been good, but it seems rise in the morning and then fall back down without any logic.
When it was in the late 30s some months ago, it followed the same pattern.

I know that but when you look at every travel and leisure stock yesterday, only 1 was green, the rest were all down.
I am hoping that the final quarter will kick start NEX and a host of others in the ftse.
Fund managers probably been selling to bank in profits for 3rd quarter, so hopefully less volatility next month, yanks aside.

This has been a horrible share to own since 2017, downward trend continues, lower highs and lower lows.
There's been speculation about LG pretty much since I've held these shares, and my view is if they were going to make a move it would have been last year when the price was so low, that any offer would have seemed reasonable.
Can't see what they're getting out of having such a large stake.

This is similar to what was happening before the last update, up early then down by mid morning.
Baffling this is.

I know, improved guidance for 2022, and the sp has barely moved off 360 the entire day, that is suspicious in itself, get the feeling this is being tightly restrained.

I don't mind today, stable is good until Friday!

Definitely a good call by paddyboy and strategy if you want to trade it this week.
I'm personally just holding as have been most of the year, and although dips and pullbacks are to be expected, I didn't quite expect such intraday volatility as we've seen today, and I will be a lot happier and calmer when there is clarity.

No reductions yesterday.

I know in my gut you're right, although it's been a terrible day for markets generally, its been the perfect opportunity to try and get nervous holders to cut with small gains etc so they can get hold of your shares.
I guess for me it's just I've been so used to seeing my portfolios in the red the last few months, that now they are turning nice and green I want that to last !!

The short stock tracker shows 4.32 as of Friday including Fridays reductions.
I see what you mean on the graph but I'm thinking the LSE one is a bit slow to update.
It's been a rubbish day all round today further weighed down by the US markets which will probably improve slightly now they've screwed up our day and we're now closed.
Given the week's trading until Friday, plenty of time for volatility until there is clarity on the fine.
