It's a sector wide tanking again, it's following stagecoach, Easyjet, IAG, not even a decent trading update and hedged fuel costs can stabilise this at the moment. Maybe something positive from the capital markets this afternoon will help.

The deadline for releasing results is the end of October and we will issue them comfortably before that. Having resolved the SFO investigation we are now finalising the normal review process with our auditor.

This is the only catalyst I can see to change sentiment on this share, very weak at the moment, no bounces when the US bounces, I guess when it goes it will go.

Well that's put the mockers on it now.

Agreed re 3% mainly because yesterday's drop was probably associated with rising fuel costs, it seemed to follow Easyjet, stagecoach and IAG, so now that has been hedged until 23, should be ack up a little more.
Last update I remember it decided to rise later in the morning to reflect the update. Fingers crossed.

Reference to driver shortages as a global issue several times but they're mitigating against costs.
Fully hedged against rising fuel costs through 22/23 which is probably what caused the drop yesterday.

Thanks for that. I get that part that there is no clause in the contract for that, so essentially CP can use the pandemic to defer payments to suit their needs, and CINE can't.

And the actual cheek of it, ti ask a court to give them the full amount and get to keep their company, never heard anything like it in my life.
It's sounding like a similar situation when purchasing a property in Scotland where you're legally obligated even prior to signed contracts.

Surely if CP argue that they deferred payments due to covid, CW are entitled to re-evaluate their position with regards to the purchase, because of covid, and both should be considered as normal under those circumstances, no ?

Yeah this will be sub 200 with poor results, when is this bear market going to end.
It was around these levels when the merger was announced.
This is following stagecoach and Easyjet today, all 4% down.

Guess it depends if there is any mention of driver shortages affecting services, costs of fuel etc etc, if there is I think it will be hit.
Last update the market was very underwhelmed initially and changed its mind through the morning.
Profits reported last update but could have been expected as there cost savings over and above the reported profits.
Just need a positive update with no mention of headwinds, not much to ask.

Well I've been in this dawg since February, and it's proving to be the worst capital investment of the year bar none.

Well it's true, it's absolute s---e, lower lows every week.

The only consolation today is it is tracking stagecoach and travel stocks, leisure stocks seem to be fairing well today.
So they can rate them separately when it suits them !!
