RE: Nex as always classed as a travel company rather than transport company.6 Mar 2022 18:10
Surely all charts and technicals go out the window in times like this, when a single statement by someone, or misguided missile could have the sort of reaction the markets gave on Friday.
I'm sitting enormous losses accross my portfolio, 200k down currently, its a total nightmare and I'm braced for it to get worse before it gets better.
I'm only 5k down with NEX but a couple I'm invested in are 35 and 50 k down respectively.
I've averaged down and most have dropped further again, so personally I'm writing this year off at least. Things are dire, even if the war situation calms, there is inflation, interest rates, energy costs etc etc.
The question I keep asking myself is if I get even on say NEX by any miracle this week, do I sell and leave the cash and have a bit of liquidity, do I invest in another beaten down stock, or do I just do nothing on all of them and wait for global sentiment to improve again like it did from Nov 20 when the first vaccine was announced.
All I can say is its an awful time to fully invested.
