Yes CPI hasn't exactly helped their cause through poor results and stagnant growth, but that was all priced in at 3 x the current SP.

Things have been streamlined, slimmed down and improved considerably since covid, yet look at how this is currently valued, pathetic market.

I'm not a labour voter but 13 years of the same stale government, country needs a change despite who it will be.

Regulators interference in UK PLC recently pricing methods, potential profts, telecoms today, vets services ongoing, all dividend paying companies affected, PETS, CVSG, BT, VOD, who in their right mind would now invest in those companies ( I'm talking global investors)

AAL whacked by the idiots who price UK companies last Friday for taking a disciplined cost cutting approach, RENT whacked 15% for downgrading their margin in the US from 19-19.5% to 18.5-19%, I mean honestly does a half % margin decrease in one division warrant a 15% fall, its ludicrous being listed here.

All I can say now is that yesterday I read on trading economics that 50 S&P companies hit 52 week highs.

Says it all about the state of the UK stock market and the complete idiots running it that incapable of correctly valuing UK PLC.

They only look here now to short.

Keep hearing how undervalued UK companies are, yet the city keeps it that way.

More than 50 US S & P companies have hit 52 week highs.

Just shows what a 5h1t show the UK stock market has become, run by people incapable or just unwilling to give companies fair valuations.

The disparity between here and most other indexes is greater than ever.

We have to wait until March for the earnings confirmation unless there is another unexpected TU before downgrading again.

You would have thought after the complete balls up the BOD have made to date, they would at least confirm meeting that target ASAP.

There is no getting away from that this is very weak leading up to Thursday, especially last few days.

Totally agree , we have become the laughing stock of Global markets.

Personally and IMO, regardless of who the potential incoming government will be, the country needs a change for better or worse.

That might actually be the tonic the UK market needs, as perverse as that may sound.

Not that I have a strong allegiance either way, it seems repeating the same thing is not working for the country or the UK stock market.

So Berenberg now think another 4-5 billion needs to come off Mcap.

Imo brokers should be subject to a closed period like the BOD, shouldn't be allowed to rate a company a week b4 earnings release, considering the impact it has on the sp and individuals.

As predicted, good news is bad news, markets wanna fall today, strong Labour Market, unemployment falling, wages up.

You just can't win right now.

It very much feels like markets and in particular the US are wanting to fall down today, after all they had a great day yesterday, and despite the jobs number.

I'm bullish about this one, you will recover quicker than you think, but UK markets generally are finished.

Uk market us appaling, Ftse 100 and 250 both up, all my stocks falling.
