Strong finish in the US bodes well fir a strong open tomorrow, could be pushing on over 22 tomorrow.

It's 50/50 who wins out here.

If there is a RI and significant dilution, or d4e , the shorts will buy back at a fraction of 20p.

If not and the company manages to pull one out the bag, the squeeze will be monstrous.

With what we've all been through, the ups and downs over the last few years, finally I can see the light in the distance.

I'm very close to break even on 350k shares, and 15% up on 100k.

I'm going to use all my will power to refrain from derisking here, even of there is a fall after next week's update, I strongly believe 24 is the inflection point, and multibagging by 2, 3 or even 4 fron here is more than possible by this time next year.

I can't understand how people can defend shorting to these extreme levels, especially if the impact that they have on a share price like in this case, could be the difference between being able to raise enough cash if required by a RI, or not being able to and forced into a D4E.

How is this sort of attack justified?

Even the US were discussing suspending short selling during the regional Bank crisis, because there were risks that short sellers could financially ruin them.

Yes I know, but usually the FTSE when it can't think for itself, follows the lead from over there,,but recently especially around 2.30 it trends the other way.

Totally agree Culley, I think the fy update won't be good hence the preceding need to announce further cost cutting b4, but 1st quarter trading will show improvement at fy announcement in March, and this will be validated in August.

Plus the new ceo factor.

Exactly, the facts are this 20% lower than 8.30 this morning, shorts significantly increased on Monday,,and they are in complete control , and probably know of either significant dilution or d4e.

These are the facts unfortunately for most of us.

I don't understand why this is so weak in the market.

So they marginally downgraded their US margin from 19% to 18.5% to 19%, maintained overall guidance, yet the share price is a third lower than before that last update.

I think the FY results will be more of the same, as forecast at HY, which the market should be aware of by now.

Just a guess but possibly a bit worse even, given the sudden need for further cost saving measures announced just a few weeks before.

I'm hoping that the first quarter TU next year will show Improvement, and this will be reflected in the HY update next August.

Hopefully the Adolpho factor will improve sentiment and trust at least until FCF is consistent to allow for dividends.
