Strikes me that any favourable outcome for Zen will be completely disregarded by the Tunisians, as in case 1. So what opportunity exists for seizing Tunisian overseas assets, assuming there are any? By now, surely we should have seen such steps taken over securing the outstanding settlement.

Hardol….. one thing to be certain is that Crl, also known as No Cents, has a sizeable holding. I have had the misfortune to suffer his continuous moaning for many years. He never seems to learn from his investing failures, having said that I am not fairing that much better!

My post was an observation on today’s pantomime, it went much as I anticipated. That is only to be expected from a carefully staged event behind cameras.

I was previously very supportive of action in the case of Trinity Exploration and would most certainly support any shareholder action to bring about leadership change here. Whilst I held a substantial holding in Trinity and as a result lost a substantial sum, that taught me a very painful lesson about investing in certain types of company especially if operating in particular jurisdictions. As a result, thankfully my investment in TXP is relatively modest. I do not hold out much hope of recovering it whilst incumbent management remain in situ.

A staged and polished presentation and Q&A session that was staged to avoid any banana skins. I would have fought sufficient to placate shareholders and head off any potential EGM threat.

Let’s hope the rearranging of the deck chairs actually achieves something positive. I wouldn’t rush to put on a space helmet.

Crl (No cents), I am rather surprised to learn that you went so heavily into TXP, particularly after being so involved with Trinity Exploration. The warning signs were there, Trinity’s story demonstrated how difficult it is for a small exploration company to generate profits in Trinidad and furthermore Bruce Dingwall expressed his reservations over TXP’s exploration strategy and level of debt financing. Seems those chickens have now come home to roost!

I have a modest shareholding but would be happy to participate in any shareholder action. I am sure many other small shareholders would also be prepared to get involved, especially those stung after participating in recent placements.

I think shareholder Mark is one in the same who held a few % in Trinity Exploration and refused to support any shareholder action on that occasion. If so, I hope that he would have learnt from that experience.

Repeated avoidable management failings are crucifying this business and have destroyed virtually all shareholder value. Big shareholders need to wake up and take action to remove and then replace incumbent management before it is too late.

Interesting, whilst it may achieve $80 /lb, no mention of production costs. Presumably has been left in ground up until now as not considered economical to extract previously.
