Regarding yesterday’s hardly glowing RNS, it seems likely they know more than are letting on and it ain’t good. Consolidation is desperate stuff and preparation to get the next raise inevitable fund raise away easier. I will be surprised if they can still find suckers out there to put up more cash, regardless of the inevitable discount. What a shower!!!

Not sure this will necessarily enhance shareholder value. Strikes me that AC’s principal motivation is doing deals. I thought the direction was away from fossil fuel extraction. They should wait until they have at least something material to show from Tunisia before further indulging and committing shareholders to more dilution.

Ab76, by now I would have hoped you might have realised that you are flogging a dead horse here. Even the prospect of oil at $110+ a barrel for many months to come can’t shift this sp.

Undoubtably the institution that put up the £5 million at 30 is happy, as it flogs as many shares as it can for a 5% profit. Doubt any other institutional investors would be interested.

This is very much a share to only risk what you can afford to lose. Over the years this has been a case of lots of promise but never any delivery, although just perhaps this time around helium exploration may deliver.

That institutional investor must have money to burn or an unhealthy appetite for high risk investment!

Surely if Tunisia choose to ignore any international court ruling, as they have done up to now, they are prepared for any detrimental consequences. On the other hand logic says they should make a bid for Zenith, indeed they may succeed at 25p, which would cost them £170m, they could likely then recover £60m selling off the assets. A lot better than facing a £500m compensation bill or the consequences of being categorised as a peria state.
