Your views on a JV are the same as mine.

How will a JV work for SOLG ?
Surely we will be very much the poor relation in a JV, we can't afford to be the majority share holder, and any partner wouldn't entertain being a minority. We would have to stick to the timelines decided by the major holder.
Our priority would be their option. Not much value in a JV for existing SH IMHO.

The fundemental problem with higher divi versus buybacks is tha fact that with dividends the money goes out of the company and is effectively lost.
Buybacks use the money that would be lost to reduce the share count and add value to the individual sharw based on the mcap.
The money is still spent but it buys a reduction in share count making every other share (potentially) more valuable.
A simplistic view I know.

There is always a bigger fish, another drill campaign may well find another porphyry, more copper infill, more value etc.
The choices open to XTR is to either complete a phase 3 drilling campaign in the hope of increasing the resource significantly or sell to a bigger fish who can do what we did but on a larger scale and realise value that way.
A sale is my preference, Bushranger will not be worth nothing. It will have a value, but that value will be subject to the POC

Quady is right about the diverse book making it harder for an outright sale but it's not insurmountable.
With the forecast on the price of copper nobody is going to get it cheap but any reasonable price will look cheap in two years time and not an ounce of it will have been mined in that period, time is on the side of the big boys, the miniscule pot of cash SOLG has amassed lately is a drop in the ocean in the grand scheme of things.
The smartest thing SOLG have done recently is almost give away %ages of future profits for peanuts, that should scare any potential buyer as it's it's a ransome strip they will have to pay dearly for in order to have 100% tenure.
Yes I know it's more complicated than that but tbh I have a life away from this board and you know what the details would be without me spelling them out to you.

We will have to wait a while before we see just how miffed XTR are about this attack on their company.
I say attack because taking everything into consideration that's what it amounts to.
CB is a master of bluster but he got one thing right, until the study has been completed NOBODY can really say what the figures are as nobody knows all the facts. For somebody to sell out and then post a lengthy negative "paper" about the company is more to the point rather than whether the content is accurate or not.
