You keep worrying about climate change and I'll just worry about the cost of putting fuel in my three Harleys, Corvette, Audi, Peugeot (wifes car) and my old DR650 Suzuki.
I don't have anything old enough to run on coal so I'm still greener than the Chinese, not that I care a jot.
Just read what the WEF discussed at Davos last week, Klaus Schwab is calling for the banning of private cars for the masses for instance, the underlying problem is not warming the planet, it's the fact that when fossil fuels run out there isn't a viable alternative yet that will power and feed nearly 8 billion people. The WEF want to slow this down by retrograde steps, no personal belongings,banning the proles from jet travel etc. They want a world of zombiefied people brainwashed into thinking they are saving the planet when in reality they are trying to make a two speed society whereas they carry on with their high carbon lives on private jets and the rest of us sit at home scared to death of a virus and keeping the doors and windows closed whilst we huddle around a solitary light bulb ordering crap off Amazon. When the oil runs out the planet may be better off (slightly) but society will turn to anarchy and destroy their cosy existence. They will all be dead anyway from old age (me too waiting for my money back in SOLG).

Technically it would only have legal clout in an RNS but who would put out an RNS just to say that, CB doesn't RNS much ATM anyway.

Whilst I do believe SOLG will get a bid for all or part of it's assets, I have to concur the market doesn't see or know of one ATM.
Any sniff of interest in the background would result in a rerate for no apparent reason followed by even more (if that were possible) conjecture until such interest became common knowledge.
I don't think any of the majors have reached that stage, the Chinese are a completely different kettle of fish however, a bid from them could appear at any time.
That's why I'm still invested.
