Yeah quite possibly. That's good to hear. The seismic data that has been gathered and analysed I suspect is invaluable to whoever buys us. Don't forget too, that we have already pre-identified at least 5 more new drill locations and we very recently learnt via JP's reply to another investor that a location has now been decided upon for Te-11. My feeling is that we won't be drilling Te-11 and our buyer(s) probably will. It may turn out that we derive a contingency payment for any gas discovered at Te-11 but I am not a great fan of the contingency payment idea for the simple reason that if somebody wants to buy us, then make us a decent enough offer from the outset and then you can do what you want with the data that you will inherit from us. I suspect that the new buyer won't want a load of emotional PI's on its back every two minutes too, asking how the drilling is going etc.

Let's be honest, anything way off £1 per share will be a failure IMHO. I still believe most of us have underestimated the true worth of our assets. The company presentations sound as though they have been well received according to Brian's email reply. He also mentions that this will help with their internal evaluations of what we have. There is clearly an upcoming deadline date for when final offers need to be submitted. I think we're getting very, very close to that. My first feeling was that it could have been July 31st, but it is looking more likely to be end of August into September. Sarah Dees did say that we were "midway" through the marketing process a few days ago, so that would put us into September I suppose. Either way, we don't have long to find out if an offer has been made and hopefully there will be more than one bid coming our way.

Exploration? Don't forget about the Chinese either. They have deep pockets and strategically and politically, I suspect they'd want a piece of what we have for sale. They would have two markets to sell into: the European and African markets, which is very appealing to whoever buys us.

Chuckle Energy plc will look into this spam event and would like to kindly thank Testpack3 for his informative post. It's nice to know that there are fellow investors out there who clearly have even more time on their hands than I do and that is saying something!

We do hope to swap the spam for steak though and will update the market in due course.

Desert rather......not dessert! Although, I hope the LE price per share is sweet tasting.

It will be interesting to see if a bidding war ensues. With 10 or more companies interested, I'd like to think at least a couple of them are serious bidders and want a slice of the Moroccan dream in the dessert.

Could this be where things start to get a little more exciting? Let's hope so.

This may well be working around the result of Brexit, mainly due to what will probably be the falling rate of the pound, but I'm not going to dabble with economics and politics at this time of the morning.

It appears as though we are trying to get a Heads of Agreement document signed-off between us and ONEE who are the ones who will eventually be purchasing the gas that is produced from The Horst. I suspect that this is taking a while to get the t's crossed and the i's dotted and hence why SD has asked for more "patience" and that they are "mid way through the marketing process." That signed HOA may be required before the would-be buyer, assuming one has been found, will buy our share of the assets. It's JP doing the mopping-up work prior to the sale, if you like.

I think things may wake-up in the autumn then all being well. I was hoping that things would finalise sooner, but these things always do tend to drag-on a while as there are so many parties involved, various documents to sign and hands to shake etc.

All we can do is wait and hope. GLA.

That could mean that we'll be waiting around until October time and possibly due to Brexit, to find out our fate. However, I acknowledge that news could land any time. I did think we'd be getting news early August so let's wait and see what unfolds. Looks like Jacklevi could be right though and that news may take a while longer yet. It's time to hunker down again, fluff-up the pillows and sleep this one off. Somebody wake me up when this is all over please. The thought of another prolonged winter above the chippy doesn't exactly fill my ripped boots with pleasure.

You probably won't be able to read this message as I am no doubt high on your blocked list. However, may I just add that the price of spam fritters and the contents of Trellis's aforementioned wine cellar is a whole lot more interesting than the drivel you have just spouted and continue to spout every time you want to take out your frustration for being way too overexposed in this share. Just you worry about how you're going to tell your better half how you have gambled away what is purported to be £400k without having the balls to tell her. I think that's quite cruel actually.

Don't worry. I'll try and save-up a few chocolate gold coins for you this Christmas if we don't find a suitable buyer or buyers. But then again, maybe I won't.

I think Parsons must by now realises that most of us are feeling let down, frustrated and bored by this whole process when in theory it should be just the opposite and we should be smiling like Cheshire cats.

The weight is now firmly on JP's shoulders in terms of delivering us all a result that we'll be content with. I don't want to see anybody lose out and hopefully he's working on a deal that will "satisfy all stakeholders."

As of late, even his most hardened disciples have fallen quiet. Crude carries on wagging his tail though and hopefully he unlike us is feeling reassured by something. If his tail ceases to wag, then it ay be time to have it docked.

Not delivering us a result / deal is NOT acceptable and will be met with an unpleasant reaction, not just from us but many other investors I suspect e.g. II's and OGIF.

Maybe this radio silence is a good thing. Let's hope so. Patience of a Saint is needed though in the interim and I'm not a particularly patient person at the moment due to the Chuckle Wagon packing up again, which means more money being thrown at it. I was rather hoping that the LE would give me enough money to buy a new car and replace this 17 year old, rusty banger. It's bad enough gazing out of a chippy every day.

You could well be right. There's a few of us on here that believe the eventual owner could be the Moroccan state. Maybe they've had enough of foreign companies and operators prancing around in their desert. It's their natural resource after all and as long as they ensure nobody loses out money-wise, then it could be the nest result for everybody.
If it's true that Parsons gets 18 month's worth of salary when this is sold, then that doesn't sit easy with me. He better be hoping that the LE is decent enough for us to forget about that. He's filled his boots already IMHO. It's now time to deliver us a result and share some of that wealth. Somehow, I don't think JP will be on Tradesmakes's Christmas card list this year!

It's good to see another poster tell it how he sees it anyway, so fair play to you is what I say.

Yes, I mean us doing more drilling - whether that be an exploration well or an appraisal well. You could be right about the development of the Te-5 Horst though. I'm still interested to see what happens with SM when all of this ends. I hope the whole company gets sold though and not just the Eastern Moroccan assets.

Just a billion will do nicely cos that's around £1 per share according to some "back-of-fag-packet" calculations.

Jobbs? You plank. Duplicitous? I am not to blame for that. This share has been like an emotional rollercoaster ride at the best of times. Too much hyping and now radio silence and hence why my trust in the SOU BOD has eroded away. JP needs to win back our trust, but for some, he never had it in the first place.

Ah yes of course. I do recall your bob-a-job messages and very amusing they were too. I remember doing my bit for bob-a-job week when I was in the Cubs. It always seemed to involve creosote, car washing and helping the old lady next door with her shopping. Life back in the 1980's was innocent compared to what it is today. There doesn't seem to be any "love thy neighbour" anymore, which is a great shame. Millennials, don't you just love 'em?

The only person that Shaungreen loved to have as a regular poster was Mooncheese because it made his £2.50 per share look ridiculously underestimated. I just hope Santa buys him a new abacus this Christmas, but only if he's been a good boy and I personally can't see much evidence of that as of late with his rude messages.
