No ifs or buts, Parsons needs to get this circus sold to the highest paying clown. This debacle has gone on long enough. We have had to endure duster after duster. Luka's baby is still at large and his teenage years are almost upon him. The diapers were ditched long, long ago and so too the rusks.
I don't want to see any more drilling. Our drilling days are surely over? No more poking around in the sand please. If they need gas then Chuckle Energy's kind offer of bottled farts still stands. However, I can't promise the Chuckle Wagon will make the trip to Sevenoaks without breaking down. There's two bangers in my life right now: my car and the sausage staring back at me from my lunch plate.
I don't want to see any 'Unfortunately, we have been unable to secure an appropriate bid for our Eastern Moroccan assets at this particular juncture in time......' type messages appear in the next RNS. Nor do I wish to see 'Groundworks will now shortly commence for Te-11 - our third and final exploration well of our three well programme. We will endeavour to update the market in due course blah blah blah....with when the Saipem has been remobilised and transported to the drill site. It bothers me in many ways that they have already chosen a location for Te-11. I think it will be somewhere in Anoule, formally known as Meridja. Excuse the spelling, because I have forgotten how it is spelled.

Longwait - in that case can you please, please, please change your pseudonym to 'Shortwait'?

I just think it would sit a lot easier with investors.

I have never ever said that I wish for shareholders to lose money. That is extremely rude and distasteful. In fact, I have said just the opposite. You can have a read of my recent posts, where I recall saying something along the lines of...."I don't want to see anybody lose money...."

How dare you. An apology wouldn't go amiss please. I have had to report you again to LSE for abusive behaviour towards me, commenting that you think I was bullied at school and implying that I want to see my fellow investors lose their money. It's not me that you should be focussing your anger towards IMHO. It's the SOU BOD who at this stage in time have not delivered on their word of a LE. Time will be the judge of that, but as these days / weeks trickle on by, it's becoming more and more unlikely that we'll get what we are hoping for. That's all I'm trying to say.

As it turned out, it wasn't a "blinder" but at the time I thought it was due to the share price fall. Usually my timing is useless, but I thought on that particular occasion I had timed it well. Now back to reality and our 8p.....

Another polite message from you. Thanks. It's great to know that you would love to see other investors lose their money. You really are a piece of work, aren't you? And by the way, you still haven't told us all what you believe the share price to be come LE, nor have you elaborated on what you believe the CP's to potentially be should they become a reality.

I personally don't believe we will have CP's and favour a clean outright sale of the company with a price per share of at least £1. However, be careful what you wish for. The opposite good easily happen and that is that no bid or credible bid comes our way and we are then in a situation of opting for that finance package with Enigas, which JJ already has access to on his desk. We would then be faced with more drilling and I suspect more share price dilution. The issue of SM is still yet to be resolved. There is no news of a farm-in partner and we have no confirmation that another entity is at all interested in it - as a buyer or a farm-in partner. I understand that this is all "work in progress" but it has been for some time now and the radio silence is beginning to speak volumes.

What we need is a decent LE and IMHO that means a share price of at least £1 to satisfy "all stakeholders." Failure to deliver this is going to come under huge scrutiny by PI's, II's and anybody who has put their hard earned money into this. Only then can JP et al win back their trust with investors and restore some of the faith that has clearly been lost.

I see LSE Admin' were very quick to erase Jobbs's and Partridge's rude messages. Fair play to them. They have both become far too abusive to other investors such as myself when all I am doing is sharing my thoughts.

Jobbs? Still here I see. God knows how and why after your ridiculous messages yesterday and your consistent divulgence of personal information. You are an utter disgrace and no gentleman.
Some of you just can't take my predictions. Too close to the truth perhaps, or do they make you feel a bit queasy? Don't take it out on me. Consult Parsons instead who is driving this process. I don't trust him or the rest of them. I have already lost thousands of pounds in MYSQ earlier this year and I don't want to lose my money again on false hopes and dreams.

I could be right. I could be wrong. Either way, this is fast turning into a horror story. I remain unimpressed, unconvinced and let down. Only a decent LE can restore things IMHO.

Parsons has all of the weight on his shoulders and has to prove to us that he is the deal maker that he says he is. I'm fed up of the spin and hype. I want to see real results and he better not let us all down. I don't trust any of the BOD at the moment and like I said a while back, they need to win back our trust. Even his most trusted disciples are wavering. Even the wag in the tail of Crudehope has got slower and slower these past weeks.

The thought of further exploration makes my stomach ache. I wouldn't trust them with a hand drill or even a Fisher Price drill. And there's a real chance that no offer will come, or an offer that is not good enough to present to us and if that is the case and we have to go long, then God help us. Past results have been dire and I don't want to see them poking around in the sand again quite frankly.

I know JJ has access to a finance package via Enigas and therein lies the danger of them deciding to " go long". The very thought of the same BOD continuing to pay themselves the wages they do, even with the so called reductions in salary, does not sit easy with me.

If the LE turns out to be a dangling carrot that has kept us dancing their merry tunes, then there's going to be a revolt and I suspect an EGM will be called where serious questions will be asked and especially by those that hold big chunks of shares. Parsons needs to do us a deal and give us back our money that we have been waiting and waiting for these past several years. I have to say, I really don't trust him but will reserve my final judgement on them all based on the outcome of the bidding process. I have found this whole process rather unimpressive to say the least.

Yep, Sound Newco is probably going to be the new vehicle for transferring the remaining SOU Oldco asset(s) into i.e. Sidi.
I'd like to see them sell the whole company, but I can't now see this happening. I don't think there is any interest for SM other than to go and do some exploration over there, possibly with a farm-in partner if we can find one. Remember too, that the outstanding debt is also tied to SM and is payable by June 2021. I suspect that could mean just under two more years of this, which has made my stomach turn. I think most people have had enough of Sound Oldco, let alone Sound Newco. Only time will tell as to what boring conclusion this will reach. Yawn.

Bajaman is probably right. Remember guys and gals, that they are only at this stage in time (as far as we are aware) marketing the Eastern Moroccan assets. That is what was mentioned back in that May 2019 RNS. Nothing about SM. We have only invented in our heads that SM will be packaged in as part of the "deal" when this could be completely untrue.

It may be as simple as that circa £3m that was raised could be for Sound Newco to list on AIM and that on the sale of the Eastern Moroccan assets, the remaining asset i.e. SM gets transferred to the new vehicle. Some funds / money from the sale of the Eastern Moroccan assets will probably be held back to allow for enough money in the pot to commence a drilling campaign over at SM. Likely to be a 3 well drill campaign, possibly 2 well IMHO.

JP will at this point in time leave us and JJ Traynor could possibly take over as our new CEO. That Simon fellow could also step up to the plate and be CEO but I don't know enough about him to pass comment.

I like many, would much rather see a clean sale of the whole company, but I suspect this won't happen - not so long as they can carry on paying themselves over inflated wages and having the ability to do equity raise after equity raise. Should Sound Newco form, it is likely but not definite that we go after SM with a farm-in partner who will probably bear the burden of some / most of the costs for a share of the asset / profits. I suspect that on concluding the drilling campaign over at SM, we would in effect, have our second LE if you wanted to refer to it in those terms.

This company has a rather convenient way of doing the complete opposite of what you want, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if the aforementioned scenarios come true. I don't want to have to stomach much more of this. It's actually doing my head in big time, including having to deal with numpties like PS230065564 and Jobbs.

GLA and let's see how this one evolves / devolves - whichever side of the fence you sit on: the REMOANERS versus the SOUXITS.

OK so it was £50 million. Fair enough. I do however recall a conversation in the past that we were offered 50p per share, so maybe I heard wrong? Either way, it is mostly irrelevant these days, as that offer was pre Te-6, which you alluded to in your comment.

STZ and I believe that this could easily go one of two ways: if it goes to plan, I personally reckon we could achieve a price per share of at lest £1. However, if we don't manage to get a decent enough offer for the majority of investors (bearing in mind that I suspect JP will have a good feel / idea for what price people purchased shares at via the share register and what share price the II's are invested at) then we may be forced to "go long."

Going "long" will probably involve further share price dilution, a change of CEO, a finance package via Enigas and yet more waiting and waiting for our fabled LE, which may never happen due to running out of cash or never securing a buyer. Hence why I am in the camp that want to see an outright sale of the company, which includes SM. I will not discount the "going long" approach though until the details of the bidding process outcome is presented to us.

I don't trust the BOD, but will reserve my final judgement on them based on the outcome of the bidding process. My Chuckle Brother does have a valid point though: if the offer price per share is lower than your average share price, it is probable that you will vote 'no' against it and if your average is lower it is likely you will vote 'yes'. In some ways, it could turn out to be another Brexit scenario, God help us! I suspect there would be very few who would want to exit without making some profit / return on their investment - but anything happens on AIM.
