He has to earn and win back the respect for him that he has lost. That means that we are expecting a decent LE. Anything less is a failure IMHO. I consider myself a fair chap. However, I won't shake the hand of anybody who has mismanaged my expectations.

No, I won't shake his hand or anybody else's for that matter. I think they have mismanaged our expectations on countless occasions and have only added to this emotional roller coaster ride. I have shaken his hand before at The Gherkin and that was just before he told us all that he would leave a financial legacy for us and our families. If I do manage to make any return on my investment from this circus then that is fair recompense for having my emotions toyed with for 5.5 years.

Jobbs - calm down, calm down. Don't get all flustered. It really isn't worth it. Chill. People do have a differing opinion to you believe it or not.

Jobbs - fair enough. Thanks for your prediction. I can't say I agree with it though, but that doesn't matter because it's your personal opinion about what may happen. CP's are something I'd rather not have. I'd much rather see a quick and clean sale of the assets / company, which is something I've said before. CP's wouldn't surprise me though given the fact that we have had a few too many dusters and so our bargaining position is somewhat weakened.

The point is, I don't believe we will receive a credible bid for our Eatsern Moroccan assets and will have to "go long", which in turn will see us take out a finance package with Enigas as well as at least one equity raise. TW is alluding to this and I have to agree with him. You will have your own opinion no doubt, but I no longer trust the BOD here. I won't even shake JP's hand if he manages to deliver £1 at LE. I have found his lack of PI contact and communication to be very ungracious. I may save a mouldy spam fritter for his troubles though.

Jobbs - you have to emotionally bob and weave with some of these AIM companies. The situation can change in an instant and remaining in situ is IMHO dangerous. I won't sell at a loss and if that means I lose more money then so be it. I am here until the end. That is the gamble I am willing to take, so please don't try and tell me how to spend my money. It's rude and disrespectful, which is something you excel at. All I am saying is that this radio silence is bugging me. It stinks quite frankly and is usually always followed by a fateful RNS. Crude has fallen silent these past two weeks and that bothers me as he is probably JP's greatest disciple. I know he was bitten by a spider, but it wasn't a shark bite at the end of the day. Once bitten, twice shy I suppose and right now, Crude is acting shy.

Jobbs? You are still yet to provide us with a definitive prediction for what you believe will happen here? You have made a few suggestions. but nothing more really. Once again, how do you see things pan-out? Do you think we will get a credible offer presented to us, or do you think we'll have to "go long?"

Stop nit picking me, Jobbs. I'm allowed to find this whole process rather frustrating and tedious. I don't know why you are trying to twist and turn what I say to make some sort of example of me.

No, I'm stuck here until the end with my average share price. I'm just venting-off some steam so ignore me. I am quite big on communication and there has been a sincere lack of it since May. It's almost September and waking-up to radio silence each day is incredibly boring. I just hope that this wait will be worth it, but right now, I doubt it will.

Like many over the past 1-2 months, I have changed my stance about Parsons and his strategy. I'm sorry to say it, but I have to listen to my head rather than my heart and as things stand right now, you have to admit, they appear dicey to say the least. This radio silence continues and yet Parsons is more than happy to provide Crudehope with quite a thorough update, which Crude only shared on the back of me asking him what he thought about things. What else has Parsons been saying to Crude that he may have decided not to share with us? This is all beginning to stink. Jobbs? Don't defend them anymore. They have treated PI's badly since the May 22nd RNS. If Parsons can't update the market by way of RNS due to the sensitivity of the marketing process, then why does he choose to fire-off random emails to people like Crude? If you read what he said in that message to him, there is quite a bit that IMHO was new news. It's just the lack of reassurance that angers and frustrates me. That's all. And yes, he will ultimately be judged on the results of the marketing process. He's just making this whole process rather tedious. I have already lost a fair wedge of dosh this year on MYSQ and hence why I am feeling spooked about SOU. Losing another wedge of dosh is something I can't really afford to do.

JJ also has access to a finance package via Enigas, which he alluded to in that video with Malcy. I am expecting he will make use of this, as well as there being at least one or two equity raises. We are running out of money and will need some dosh to carry-out some more drilling. I say all of this because I don't believe we will receive a credible bid, which I am very unamused about. The whole debacle has almost been orchestrated so that certain people can bury their noses in the trough and gouge themselves silly on PI's hard earned money. The same warning bells that I see and feel inside me are the exact same ones that I witnessed watching MYSQ's demise. Oh by the way, JP still escapes as a millionaire.

I for one do happen to take what TW says seriously. For a start, he is a fellow Old Warwickian, as I am. He has been right about so many AIM companies and his warnings about MYSQ still resound heavily in my head. Yesterday, MYSQ's doors shut for good, which means my 6 grand is now just dust. I would suggest taking on board his comments because they have an unfortunate habit of coming true most of the time. The very fact that he is scratching at the SOU door and predicting doom and gloom is not good.

I still don't hold much hope here. I no longer trust Parsons and his merry band of men. I don't foresee us receiving a credible bid for our assets and I am anticipating we will have to "go long", which means equity raise after equity raise IMHO. They may even avoid Te-11 and concentrate on developing The Horst over the next 1-2 years. As for SM? Your guess is as good as mine. It has become the black sheep of the SOU family. Will they ever find a farm-in partner, or even to sell this asset? I have my doubts.

I think that spider bite is definitely taking its effect on him. He has plenty of servants to take care of him anyway, so I'm sure he'll be just fine convalescing on his balcony overlooking the Sussex Downs. Maybe it was a French spider that bit him?!

Tapper - Yes, I know French is spoken in Morocco. I have been there and I do speak French. My point is that Crudehope's spelling of 'Sound Energy' was 'Sound Energie', which is rather strange seeing as though he is probably SOU's most loyal PI / investor. Crude has yet to come back on here and explain himself. I just thought it was a little odd.

Parsons needs to stay until the end as he on countless occasions has said he would, whatever the end looks like. I don't think he should slip away via the fire exit leaving us PI's to suffer the consequences of a "no deal Souxit."
His job now is to bring this all to a successful conclusion. Only then will his reputation be somewhat intact, but wherever he moves on to next, he must understand that people will no longer believe his hype and will only make judgements based on hard facts and e.g. actual drill results and not what could be, would have been, may be. I suppose that will somewhat cramp his presenting style, but that is the trade-off for gambling on there being loads of discovered gas here at SOU. His plan sort of backfired and I think he really thought we'd find commercial gas, but he should have never told us how many, many multiples of the share price we could potentially enjoy and how many TCF's they'd deliver to us etc. BM is still standing in some fantasy room, standing in front of us with "at least 6 TCF under his belt." It's rather pathetic and lame IMHO. As I have said already, the weight is now firmly on Parsons' shoulders and his legacy depends on what is presented come the LE.

I'm still perplexed by Crudehope's spelling of Sound Energy yesterday. 'Sound Energie' is a French spelling. I am wondering if he was trying to be subtle by purposely misspelling 'Energy'. If it is a French company who may have made a bid for us, could it be TOTAL? Hmm....the mind boggles.

I still can't get the image of Trellis drowning in a wine vat out of my mind. I imagine him taking his last few gulps before meeting his conclusion. Talk about 'Liquidity Event'. More like 'Liquid Event'. I suspect Trellis would be very happy spending the last few seconds splashing around in a wine vat with Wannabe 5 looking on with a wry grin on her face.

I think we've heard every possible scenario on this bb for what may happen come the LE, but the one from Indeep has to be the funniest. I can just see JP saying to Brian, "Hey Brian....don't you dare choose the sweet spot. I don't want a company like Shell to pay too much for us. It just wouldn't be ethical. Could you do me a favour and magic-up one of your infamous dusters for us instead? There's a good chap..."

Indeep - you have said nothing on here for 2 years and you have come onto the bb with that idea. It's absolutely hilarious, mate. Well done. Pure comedy. I doff my fez at you. It's the funniest thing I have heard since the discussions on here about the whereabouts of Luca's baby. Priceless.

If what you are saying is that we didn't find gas to keep our sale price sexy for prospective buyers then I'd say "no".
However, a successful LE should IMHO still see at least £1 per share. Soundingoff has even "done the math" if you want to see back-of-fag packet calculations. Just for the record, I'd still be making a handsome profit at 40p, but can't see a low ball offer like that presented to us. I think we're worth far more than 40p per share. I know there are loads of people out there who think we're worth less than 40p and some that think we're worth way more than £1. None of us at this stage are right and nor are we wrong. We'll have to wait to see if a bid comes along and for how much.
