No need for foul language. Foul, nasty language will get you banned because there is no call for it on LSE. This is a bb for factual debate please. I did comment the other day that this debate would bring out a few rogue, angry, trapped bulls and I guess your behaviour is evidence of this. Chill out and sit back for 2+ years and then you may see a return on your investment.

If we see sub 2p then I suspect the drop will continue steadily over the next six months back down to the 1.5p and even 1.45p level. Remember, you heard it here first. I predicted a sub 2p share price here weeks ago.

This company has never been strong on investor relations and even when there is perceived good news, the share price reacts poorly, which we are witnessing at the moment again. I was imprisoned in this share for 3 years and I recall the conversations I had on here with fellow investors stating that this share lacked pizzazz and there was no feel good factor surrounding the share. No hype, no hope and that poor sentiment ultimately can kill a company off despite its assets, which in the case of CLNR are being slowly eroded away but without any clear explanation from the BOD. No official statement regarding the relinquishment of Licence P2248 has been made by the company, which I find incredibly arrogant and actually extremely rude. Those in the know would have probably done quite well out of the Shell RNS but the good, honest PI has yet again been shafted.

I will reiterate the point that whilst most of you were madly ramping this share after the Shell RNS landed, I was warning people to exercise caution. If you don't believe me, then go back in time and read my comments. I was also first on here to suggest that they could lose P2248 when most of you were telling me I was deluded.

I will take my seat on the sidelines and let A1M1 take the helm as he has clearly become The Voice Of Reason on this bb and there is little more I can add to his excellent comments. I commend him.

Resorting to personal attacks on fellow PI's is a bit below the belt when all I have ever done since exiting this share is to warn you of a likely drop-off in share price. It turns out that I was right.....again! I implore you to listen to A1M1 and to get involved with his debates. You may indeed learn something. He is indeed right about Shell. After analysis, they could easily walk away from this deal and where would that leave this company in a couple of years time?

At least LtdAxis acknowledges both sides of the debate and he is actually invested here. I can't see how this share isn't going to go sub 2p in the short term - not when this company has been too chicken to admit its loss of P2248. At least Andalas this morning had the balls and the politeness to RNS their relinquishment of their North Sea licence. Perhaps the chaps at CLNR should share a gin and tonic with the BOD at Andalas and garner some useful tips on the art of investor relations.

I just think it's highly discourteous towards good, honest PI's who have put their hard earned money down on this share in the hope that something great was going to happen. Brushing the loss of P2248 under the rug without even making a single up-to-date statement about the status of the licence is just weak and very rude IMO. It makes a mockery of investors and actually makes a mockery of their investor relations. This company has never been strong on investor relations. Cluff will recall my comments a few years ago when I stated that this share lacked pizzazz. It was true then and it still remains true today. Stop messing around with people's money and start treating PI's with more respect going forward. Maybe then, the share price won't react unfavourably, which it has done over the past couple of weeks.

It's all in the name of entertainment I suppose.

On a more serious note, I strongly believe the event in Mayfair is designed to be carefully co-ordinated with some company making news. I also agree that there are subtle reasons why the choice of venue has been chosen to be The Balls Brothers and its swanky Mayfair location. It's as if JP is saying, "if you have the balls to stick it out with me then you will become rich and accustomed to up market places and establishments." It almost comes across as a thank you from the company to its loyal investors for braving the storm through thick and thin. I have been an investor on/off for 5 years and I have had my fair share of good times and not so good times here at SOU.

Crude? There's so many JP vehicles these days that it's become a bit like a car parking lot. You take your choice: ECHO, CORO, SOU Newco, SOU Oldco, C4E. The 'C' in 'C4E' by the way stands for 'Chuckle'. You'll always have a place on the BOD at Chuckle Gas plc. I just can't promise the sort of remuneration package you'd get from a proper, decent, upmarket company, which we of course are not. GLA and let's see what next week brings. A week has now become a long time at SOU as we edge ever close to realising our #dreamsinthedesert.

JP's choice of venue is a subtle two fingers up to The Chuckle Brothers, I think. He knows we'd be offended by his choice of brothers. The obvious choice was The Chuckle Brothers but we didn't even appear on the guest list. As a fellow CEO of a gas exploration company, I very much hope that JP will invite me to the LE party. We can compare BCF's amongst other things.

No, not gutted and jealous at all....just surprised at the garishness of it all. Just make sure that the tab behind the bar isn't coming from shareholders money and instead coming from a certain someone who has clearly made way too much money out of this circus already.

I think you'll have to sell your shares in order to buy a drink at The Balls Brothers. If it was being held at The Chuckle Brothers, you'd get a free drink on entry. In all seriousness, there will probably be a tab behind the bar so that people can have their free drinks.

Don't get me wrong: I loved being at the very top of The Gherkin as I probably won't ever get the chance to go up there again, but he doesn't half choose some swanky venues. I still think JP should have chosen The Chuckle Brothers over The Ball Brothers. He was on the right track with choosing a set of brothers, but just got the wrong two.

I am not trading this share, Davey. I just want to focus everybody's attention on delivering results and not on choices of pubs and drinks etc. It just seems odd that a casual, informal drink is being held at such a swanky venue in Mayfair and by way of invite. IMO it has to follow some groundbreaking news either that morning by way of RNS or beforehand. This whole event appears to have been carefully orchestrated to coincide with a big announcement or announcements - possibly the sale of the company or the Eastern Moroccan assets. Strange too that it is being held on a Thursday night and not a Friday night when most people don't have to nurse hangovers the day after, which is another work day. I'm just a bit perplexed....that's all. I also find it rather distasteful and garish given our current bank balance, the lack of credible drilling results and a bleary future plan.

I tried to warn them all to exercise caution when buying into this share, but none of them listened to me. They all jumped-in, blinded by the hype without analysing the fine detail of the RNS. I could see straight through it in seconds. It was very easy for me to peel away the make up and see the cracks that lie beneath it.

This one is going sub 2p again, no matter what Dick and his cronies have to say about it. Why a company like Shell jumped into bed with a company like this beats me. They may not stick around too long either. This company should have been sold-off to one of the Major's yonks ago when most of the investors here were still wearing diapers.

Don't say you haven't been warned by A1M and me. And why no RNS about Licence P2248? Too ashamed to admit that it has been relinquished. Perhaps Monday AM they will grown some and release the news that confirms this.
