It was a bad idea from the start. We stood out like a pair of sore thumbs. The restaurant was just too poncy for the pair of us. I told STZ we should have gone to the local kebab takeaway but he didn't listen to me. The other diners wouldn't stop staring at the pair of us. I could barely fit in the booth anyway and my girth was getting the better of me.

We ruined our birthday and we managed to ruin the dining experience for countless other guests. Pretty disgraceful behaviour to be honest but they deserved it. You don't give us free wine vouchers, fill my glass with wine and then try and get me to pay for it. Bad move.

No wonder the pair of us have ended up as we have. Destitute, bitter and loveless living above a chippy.

Our birthday dinner at the hotel comprised of an argument with the entire restaurant staff, which concluded in them pretty much giving us the meal for free. We refused to pay for the bread, refused to pay for the wine and complained and complained to the point whereby they just gave in with the pair of us. Never a dull moment with The Chuckles.
They were chipping away the 5 stars from the wall outside during our stay. I think we managed to reduce it to a 1 star establishment, especially when the pair of us decided to head down to the sap in our white dressing gowns and slippers for the lift to only stop off at the Reception and the doors opening to be greeted by a load of startled German tourists. What a sight for sore eyes if ever you did see one. Two twenty stone twins, dressed like sumo wrestlers and as bald as coots. Holiday crashers.

PNE - it's not about the Horst. It's all about sentiment. Poor sentiment will crush this share sub 10p and good sentiment will have it colliding towards 50p and above. It's make or break. Sod the Horst. It means nothing. The only thing that will save SOU is success at the drill bit. If they can't find more gas then I'll get STZ to save a few farts up and bottle them. I'm sure BM will be pleased to have gas shows for once in his SPU career.

There's nothing wrong with living above a chippy by the way. Food on tap, the faint waft of spam fritters in the air, panoramic views of the car park below, the odd pigeon sitting on our poo stained window sill. It's called earthy living. Picture the scene: two fat, angry, bald, pre diabetic twins squabbling over who should eat the last battered sausage as the other one reaches for the remote control.

Crudehope? Save yourself from this impending nightmare and tender your notice first thing tomorrow morning. There's a bag of salt left for you as a severance payment. Sorry it hasn't worked out buddy but we're only a downmarket, downstream company. Trellis however retains his position once he is freed from his manhood enlargement surgery. We will need to hit the bottle in a bad way when the Te-10 results are finally released so require alcoholic advice from him. By which time, "wannabe number 5" would have long left, the Ellis cellars would have been emptied, wannabe number 6 would have been bypassed for wannabe number 7. It just keeps on getting better and better.

We're all doomed here at SOU. The only person who has made some decent money is James Parsons who has managed to keep the share price artificially buoyant in the interim to allow himself the opportunity to exercise his options. As long as the share price stayed above 16p then that's all he really needed and guess what? He's managed to achieve that and hence why The Balls Brothers event was held - to create enough hype for a while to allow him to exercise his remaining warrants. He must be laughing his head off.

The only other person who has made some money from this is my brother who managed to sneak in at 11p and cash out on the rise. He is right: it has afforded him two luxury holidays and he even had the pleasure to holiday with me. You can't put a price on that.

I still maintain that the panic selling that goes on here at SOU when there is a slight sniff of bad news is pathetic. Loads of people jumped ship last summer and I merely made the point that if people wanted to give me their stock at a knock down price then I was happy to scoop them up. It was said tongue in cheek to another investor on the SOU board but clearly people took what I said way too seriously and hence why my "muppets" comment is still valid.

As it turns out, my 34p average is now looking rather useless when compared to others. I am not a trapped bull. Rather, I am a trapped bull because I don't hold much hope for Te-10, which has been made very clear on this bb. I am ready to add more shares though should I feel brave enough to do so. I can't say at what price and under what situation. I will just have to see how I feel on the day I guess and will have to weigh-up the risk / reward. Right now, I think it is still too risky to average down despite the share price being where it is.

There are loads of people who love the Chuckle Brothers RNS's. They hopefully make a few people smile and if that is true then I am happy.

I'm not sure how I have been idiotic on here over the past two days? Yesterday I promoted some healthy debate with regards to what the LE could possibly look like and what form it could take, including my thoughts on Soundnewco. Today, I have hopefully reliably informed fellow investors that testing hasn't yet started due to there being a delay in some equipment arriving to site. I have also reiterated my thoughts about what a Te-10 failure and success could look like in terms of the share price. I have even had the time to include a Chuckle Brothers RNS.

The problem is, I spoil you all with my messaging. I provide you with some interesting ideas, some comedy and this is the thanks that I get?! Pah! I'm going to have to go away and come back with some better jokes and more factual information then! No pleasing some.

Holy Trinity - I agreed with one of your posts yesterday too. However, why do you always seem to resort to bad manners and rudeness on here? You let yourself down by doing that. There's really no point in coming on here and getting personal with anybody and especially not me because you'll on get it back in droves.

Here they are....the usual suspects. Holy Trinity, Shaun and a few others. What a load of numpties. My messages have been useful if you read them. You lot are so toxic it's untrue. Just a load of angry, trapped bulls desperate to recoup their losses. Pathetic.

Actually, make that mid April for the first set of results as he said it would take roughly 3 weeks.

No JP has said the first set of results are due end of March. He said that at The Balls Brothers event. Looks like that will now creep into early April now.

Oh trust me, investors would have been asking whether or not testing had started as we go into next week. Having spent 5 years on this bb, by now I have a good understanding of how people like to know what's going on and when things are unknown, people tend to get jittery and impatient. Timelines are important for many investors out there because the sooner we can get all of this done and dusted, the sooner we can move on with our lives. Others won't be in any rush whatsoever so long as the desired results come, which is obviously fair enough. I for one like to know what's going on most of the time but that's just me and others won't give two hoots.

I'm fine and feeling relaxed thanks. As long as people know that there is now a delay in testing starting then when we go into next week, people shouldn't be commenting what the hell is going on and whether or not we have started testing yet and why haven't we heard anything. You know....the usual chit chat that goes on this bb when there is an air or uncertainty floating around.

I think the days of PI's being deliberately rude to each other on a bb is also a waste of time. It's almost become old fashioned to do actually. If people can't accept people's views on a bb then I would recommend they don't bother coming on to them and reading through the messages.

You were unaware of this until you read the messages posted on here earlier today. That's my point! Nobody really knows what's going on at SOU if they don't properly communicate to us. Unlike JP, I would always RNS the commencement of testing so that investors can put a rough timescale for when they can expect results to filter through.

Ogrod you dope, how can I be a "troll" when I am invested here? Have a bit more respect for me please. I tell it how it is - good or bad and if you don't like hearing my opinions then simply filter me. I promise you I won't take offence if you decide to filter me. I'd rather that then having to plough through your diatribe.

The irony is that if WTD didn't post his message this morning referencing that testing has not yet commenced due to equipment still arriving at site, most of us on this bb including myself would have been wondering what the situation was. All of this in the absence of RNS and hence why I am a believer that any start of testing should be RNS'd. It helps signpost where we are and helps manage expectations.

My last job was an Account Management position where I looked after some big accounts and companies e.g. Apple. Sainsbury's, Barclays Bank etc. I can honestly tell you now that if I wasn't managing expectations with those guys then they would have been very upset with me. I am big on managing people's expectations and especially when it comes to timescales. I don't like a lack of punctuality and I don't have much time for unforeseen delays either because all that means is that you haven't planned as well as you could have done.

You carry on being rude if you want to, but there's a lot of people on this bb that realise by now that I don't mince my words. Not at this late, crucial stage of the company's lifecycle. End of.

The only issue I have with them not RNS'ing the fact that testing has commenced is that when there is an unforeseen delay in testing, which according to Whosthedday is now the case due to equipment still arriving at site, then it creates a potential mismanagement of expectations. This in turn causes unnecessary fluctuations in the share price as investors become jittery and impatient. They ain't doing themselves any favours by these delays and not when testing was originally penned to commence around early March. Even by his own admittance at The Balls Brothers, JP confesses that he has been caught out in the past by guesstimating timescales. If he has learnt anything from being CEO at SOU, it is to under promise and over deliver. Nobody likes having their expectations mismanaged and not when people have the majority of their life savings resting on there being success at the drill bit. SOU has to be one of the most emotionally charged shares on AIM in my opinion and hence why there are wild swings in the share price upon good or bad news being RNS'd. That is why many on this bb are now arriving at the realisation that Te-10 has become a company maker or indeed breaker. It has to be commercial this time around. People here deserve some luck and success and a return on our investments. GLA.

In fact, I was awaiting a RNS either on Thursday or Friday of this week explaining that testing had commenced and that equipment had safely arrived on site etc, etc. Now it has become clear (assuming WTD is not fibbing) as to why there was no RNS. For the simple reason that the testing equipment has been delayed. Probably an issue at customs I would expect? Hmm....careless.

The delay in getting the testing equipment on site has been embarrassing to say the least. Some will say that the delay is purposeful but personally, I believe it is down to a lack of foresight, a lack of careful planning, a lack of contingency planning, a lack of confidence and to some extent a lack of available revenue that they were willing to commit to best remedying the aforementioned. As I said the other day, this is fast becoming a bit of a circus. What was on the face of it supposed to be a simple vertical drill has become a long, drawn-out saga and a bit of a soap opera at times. The fun hasn't even begun yet either and you can see why the market in the most part, remains unconvinced.

There is some truth in what Fellrunner is saying about Te-11. In fact, should we have to do another drill, the present likely location for Te-11, which you can see in a recent SOU video, will probably have to be revisited due to the very low COS. You could indeed be correct, Fell, when you state that they may decide to choose an alternative location or indeed scrap their plans of having a poke around in the Paleo in favour of e.g. a re-entry of an old well, or another TAGI only target from the selection of what will be circa 12 pre-identified drill locations that the guys have been analysing from the seismic data. This was alluded to by BM at the recent Balls Brothers event - the fact that they have identified around 6 and soon to be around 12 new potential drill locations.
