We seem to have different opinions about the timing of the LE in the Chuckle household. I am anticipating it will take place this summer - probably July, August time. STZ believes we will go on to drill Te-11 and that the LE will happen late 2019 / early 2020 and he may be right if Te-10 fails. There is a strong case for SOU being sold even if Te-10 does turn out to be non commercial though as many on here believe. You have to decide which camp you are in I guess.

I am feeling quite certain that we will have a second LE (or "LE2" as we will fondly refer to it as) with the eventual sale of SM, which IMO may not be until some time in late 2021 / early 2022. Most of us will be quite happy with that arrangement as we'll be gouging on the spoils of the first LE and I suspect will be more than happy to see if more value can be unlocked from the western Moroccan asset, SM. There however will always be some who want this all over and done with and their money back so that they can move on to pastures new. Again, there will be mixed opinions with regards to going after SM and a LE2.

At this stage, I can't really see how else this will all play out.

STZ is doing 12 hour shifts to keep himself and me in spam. No word of a lie. I have consequently become his housewife, lovingly preparing the spam fritters and chips each night when he saunters back in at around circa half past 10. The view over the chip shop doesn't get any better and even when the sun is shining. Some say it is living the dream, but given the waft of stale fish emanating from downstairs, I'd say it's more like living the bream.

Yes, I commented in the past that the talk at the bar right at the end of the video with Saleem was the most poignant part of the BB event for me because JP seemed to change his stance, voice tone, body language. Everything seemed to change during that brief discussion with Saleem. Maybe Saleem dropped a funny pill in his drink?! A truth serum perhaps?!

I believe that Eastern Moroccan assets will be packaged and sold separately and that the LE will consist of a one-off special dividend payment, which we all know by now will be at least £2.50 per share. Anything to keep Sharungreen schtum!!

The remaining asset i.e. Sidi will be then moved into the new vehicle, SoundNewCo at which point JP will retire from SOU and hand the mantle to JJ Traynor as the new CEO who will then go after Sidi with the help of a joint farm-in partner and probably a 2 or 3 well drill programme. I therefore predict we will have a second LE once Sidi has been drilled and hopefully gas discovered and the asset sold-off. I believe this is true for the simple reason that JP has at this stage, been unable to find a buyer for Sidi due to the fact that it hasn't really been proved-up and IMO clearly requires more detailed 3D seismic work to pinpoint some drill sites. There will probably be quite a bit of fund raising that will need to take place to raise the money we will need to carry-out a drill programme. JJ is better placed to make this happen given his experience in this field. JP will go off to pursue his next venture at C4E after a bit of time-off and a break.

I've got the Blue Nun and Baby Cham at the ready depending on what the Te-10 result will be. I still am fearing the worse, but that's been my stance ever since SOU messed-up at Badile. The only hope I hold is for Te-11, which ironically we probably won't be drilling.

It's all that money spent on Haribos that is more of a concern to me. Forget the sausage rolls. I reckon we could have fully funded a Te-12 with the money that was spent on wine gums.

Thank you for you post, but with a pseudonym like yours, let's just hope for your sake that you're not the next one to pop your clogs. Long wait? Hahahahaha you couldn't make it up! There's certainly been a long wait here at SOU. We're going to need an increase in life expectancy (all of us) to reach the "end game" and I'm not talking about death - rather I'm referring to the LE.

Listen to you all go on about me. FFS put a sock in it, will ya? I'm not looking to wind anybody up. This is a bb and I have a right to state my opinion. That's all I am doing. I like you, am invested here and hope to get a return on my investment. I was attacked the other week for suggesting that testing hadn't started in earnest and was called all of the names under the sun and despite what the BOD told us, it turned out that I was in fact right. I was right about Te-9 being a duster, so much so that STZ managed to get in at 11p and make a tidy profit when he decided to jump ship. We both saw that coming yet most of you refused to accept it and remain as trapped bulls. If you can't accept alternate views on a bb then you shouldn't bother coming on here in the first place IMO. I have to trawl through your posts and you don't see me jumping on every one of your posts and making personal attacks on people. It's not in my nature to do that. I am merely saying how I feel about current events and I have every right to comment that I have doubts about Te-10 being non commercial. I know it is a sentiment shared by many other investors on here too and some of them don't even bother to post on here but I suspect are waiting to top-up or average down or even get back in again after having sold out a while back. I just think you paint this horrible picture of me and actually I'm a decent chap who won't tolerate nasty remarks from anybody on here and if you do, it will be met with ugly diatribe from me every time. You should have at least fathomed that out by now. I am not a paid deramper or ramper. I am just me who has his own views about SOU. Just leave me be and let me have my say OK? There won't be a LE Party at this rate, Clive. I find that Hawthorn character very toxic indeed. He will command a response from me that is scraping on the barrel every time. Nobody else ought to take offence. I just want him to take offence. I wasn't gloating when the price went down to 11p. Just the opposite actually as my average was at 34p. How dare he accuse me of getting off on that fall. Hence my last sentence - purely designed to get his back up. Of course I want us to succeed - I have several grand invested here so it is in my best interest that we do find gas.

I had the absolute displeasure of meeting you at The Gherkin and you struck me then as you do today as being a total numpty. Stop digging up the distant past and get back to your day job. I recall you asked me what I did for a job and I told you I had retired to which you commented, "what at your age?" To which I replied, I guess I am a victim of my own success. I then witnessed you leaving the pub en route to your urgent meeting as I sipped on beer whilst chatting to the likes of Appiamma. Haven't you got a meeting to go to, rather than plaster this board with you tosh?

Never underestimate the power of the Fez and his soothsayer like predictions. Invariably, they come true. I was right with my Brexit predictions and have been in contact with MP Mims Davies with them and clearly the Government have listened to them and taken action. I am steering us through Brexit, so I at least deserve a pat on the fez for that.

If the share price tumbles again I have no hesitation to scoop-up some more shares from those who are selling them. I said it then and I'll carry on saying it.

Next thing now is JP will suddenly announce plans to hold another conference call. He tends to follow the advice of the Chuckle Brothers during these sorts of situations.

I don't think they really know what they are doing either. The whole reputation of the company and its BOD rests on one well, which on the face of it doesn't seem to be filling anybody with much hope. The ones that are feeling hopeful it will succeed are a brave bunch. I acknowledge that there is a very fine line between brevity and stupidity and I'm not proclaiming to fall into any of those two categories. I believe they are faffing around in the desert and are encountering hurdle after hurdle and they are just hoping that nobody notices - especially us stupid PI's. Why doesn't JP hold another conference call so he can give us an honest update as to where we are in the process? It is still plausible to suggest that testing of any description hasn't commenced in earnest at this stage in time due to the continued delay in CT arriving to site from Tunisia. I just wish JP would come clean and tell us how it is. I am not that fussed if there is a plausible reason for the delay, assuming there is one. It's the not knowing where we are, which is frustrating us. I think....no, I know we deserve better than this given the fact that we are all part owners in SOU.

One thing that does come in on time is their wages that they carry on paying themselves. That I am certain of. Not a minute's delay. Shame they couldn't pay more intention to other timelines and ensuring that our patience, or lack of it in some cases, is rewarded.
