Trust me, if the pre stimulated results were half decent then SOU would be shouting them from the rooftops. I suspect they are very poor and hence they will hide again in the holes until they hopefully manage to make a non commercial well sound commercial with their fluffy, candy floss RNS that I am expecting right at the very end of May when they have managed to drag things along right up until the bitter end. This is of course after they get the coiled tubing to site, which is still a mystery.

That perfectly sums-up where we are and there's nothing more that can be said at this stage. I'm actually getting sick of talking about Te-10 anyway, so I'm going to head out and enjoy the rain (the sun isn't shining where I am).

I also believe that we should know where the land lies either way by the end of May.

There's nothing we can do now apart from just to sit it out and wait. I've been waiting for 5 and a bit years, so a while longer doesn't really bother me. There are many on here who have waited a lot, lot longer e.g. 10 years and they are the ones who deserve a medal.

It is perhaps why they are dealings with things on an ad hoc basis and that Te-10 is an exploration well and not an appraisal well, which is causing this perceived "delay". Nothing more to read into it I think. I also reiterate that I don't believe that things are being slowed down to facilitate a "deal". JP would have been doing a lot of work in the background in order to facilitate a quick and easy sale. It is in everybody's interest that it is as seamless as possible, although in practice I suspect there will be some complexities to hurdle and the omnipresent i's to dot and t's to cross.

I don't think not having all of the kit on site was an accident. I think it was just down to not wanting to commit too many resources and money to all eventualities before they had occurred, if that make sense? In other words, deal with things as and when they crop-up. To use an analogy, it's like going on a long car journey and packing an overnight bag, loads of food and drink and taking a spare phone with you just in case the perfectly working one you already have gets dropped down the toilet by mistake. The long and short of it is that we just wouldn't do it despite the fact that we have the ability to do it. It's the same scenario here with Te-10 and so I don't believe it is down to incompetence and rather they are dealings with things on an ad hoc basis. Don't let us forget that although we have money in the bank, this should always be offset against how much we owe i.e. debt. People have been quick to reassure others on this bb that we have enough dosh in our coffers to forge ahead with another well, which I suspect is the truth. However, very slow in making the point that we are also nursing a circa £30 million debt, which may or may not come back to haunt us should Te-10 turn out to be "non commercial". I am hoping that any would-be buyer, as part of the "deal" will inherit our asset(s) as well as all of our liabilities and any debts - or that it will be factored-in as part of the overall handover.

Badile was purported to have been an exciting discovery though and we all remember how that one concluded. The enthusiasm displayed by the BOD in various presentations and conference calls etc was palpable. Nobody really knows what the results will be for Te-10 until all of the testing has been done and the litany of data analysed. All we can really do in the absence of any direct communication coming from the BOD, is to speculate. All I know is that when an O&G company takes this length of time with drilling, that on nearly every occasion, it doesn't end well (hence why I don't feel too optimistic about our chances with Te-10). Maybe Te-10 is different and they want to be crystal clear with what the have "discovered" before releasing their verdict to the market. Who knows? Hence it's probably best letting them get on with the job in hand and we will just have to remain being patient. Not easy, I know, but there we have it.

Following on from STZ's comments...….....Crude, I like you have already paid my mortgage but I don't have a wife to divorce, so I guess I am one of the lucky ones! Although, I suspect that many "investors" haven't told their respective spouses about their cash injection into SOU and its two other siblings, ECHO and CORO. Probably a wise move at this stage in time. The Baby Cham and Blue Nun will just have to wait on the rack for a while longer I suppose.

Reading through the messages on this bb today has given me stomach ache. Most of you have become even more deluded than you previously were a short while ago.

The only plausible evidence we have had to date regarding any "delay" has purported to be the time it has taken for the coiled tubing to visit site. The irony still exists however, that nobody has had confirmation that it has actually arrived. I'm sorry, but I don't buy into the supposition that things are purposely being slowed down to foster some sort of "deal", which will be the catalyst for our LE. I would personally suggest that any perceived "delay" has been down to unforeseen circumstances and perhaps a hint of not wanting to commit too many resources / finance to aid with the overall planning.

I think people have read way too much into the current situation this morning and at this stage in time, it's probably best to sit back and wait for the news flow. I don't think we have very long to wait now and I agree, when it comes it will probably be akin to London buses i.e. arriving all at once! GLA.

No, a duster will very much weaken my position as it will for the majority of people. I am merely stating my opinion based on what I think given the prolonged delays and lack of credible communication from the BOD. However, like many others, should there be a duster I may think about topping-up purely to get my average share price lower than it currently is.

Incidentally, should we drill Te-11 then I believe we will be successful with it given the additional time the guys have had to sift through the seismic data and the extra knowledge that would have been gained since we started drilling the other two wells.

You contradict yourself. If nobody cares about my opinion, then why oh why are you bothering to read my messages? And when you see my name, you will just ignore me? OK well you go and run off, hide behind the sofa and close your eyes and count to 1,000,000 if it's all getting too much for you. There are people on here who do welcome my opinion because IMO this whole situation is fast turning into another SOU debacle. They have no news to report still and yet have had the whole weekend to make things happen. We are almost in May and nobody really knows what is going on and this circus has been going on now for 133 days. I thought travelling circus's only last a while then pack-up and go away. This has all the warning signs to me of being just another non commercial well, which will catch a lot of you out. To use an analogy bandied around on here this morning, we ain't looking at a butterfly and instead we're going to get stung by an angry wasp.

Jobbs - I believe the greater prize is lurking in the Palaeozoic and I only hope that SOU has the money and balls to go after it in earnest. I realise that the emphasis has been very much on the TAGI as of late, but I just have a very good feeling about our chances should we drill Te-11. We are learning more and more about Tendrara as the days / weeks go by and the guys would have by now sifted through a load of seismic results and they themselves are learning new things about the underlying geology. Shoot me down for being positive and shoot me down for being positive. That's the point. I can't really say a right word on this bb and I believe it is down to a simple lack of respect for my views. There is no cure for that I guess, so I apologise to all other PI's for being positive about our chances at Te-11.

The pair of us are probably the most down to earth, straight talking guys you'll ever meet believe it or not. Very easy to get along with and very generous dudes. I don't want to pick a fight with anybody on here but ask that you kindly respect our views and take what we say with a pinch of salt if you don't agree with us. Well I seemed to get along with everybody I met, so I suspect it would be the same for the rest of you. Just because we have alternate views on something doesn't make us bad people. I have always been very, very positive about our chances with Te-11 as you know, but remain undecided regarding Te-10. Now it looks like we may not be drilling Te-11, but I would like to see us have a go at unlocking the beast that lies beneath and I don't really mind waiting longer for that to happen quite frankly. In recent times, I have just wanted this whole thing to end but I have to remind myself that there does exist a greater prize in Te-11 and I think it would be worth the wait too. Shame that doesn't seem to be a sentiment shared by the SOU BOD who clearly just want any bit of success before they scarper and switch the lights off at Sevenoaks. If we are supposed to be an oil and gas exploration company, then why not have a stab at the Palaeozoic? Perhaps we'd even get to witness our, "many, many multiples."

I have attended a SOU event before anyway. I graced The Gherkin and shook hands with Malcy and JP as well as a fair few of you. Nothing was or ever will come close to The Gherkin event anyway, not even the fabled LE party. I think what did it for me was the free Haribos. I had some strange looks on the train ride home as I nibbled away at my gummy bears whilst looking half cut.

Jobbs - very true, very true. Your post is spot on. I wouldn't waste my money on travelling down to some over elaborate venue watching a bunch of dotards not getting to the nitty and gritty of things with the BOD. Too scared to tarnish your squeaky clean reputations and yet too quick to make use of the free buffet and the overpriced beer.

Thank you for you kind and honest words, Trellis. I dare say we Chuckles would make a bee line straight for the red wine vinegar, drink it and profess that it was the "best wine we have ever tasted in our lives" whilst you look upon us with a disbelieving gaze. I suppose that is one sure fire method to do away with it though. Spam fritters would be the last thing on my mind when visiting Ellis Towers. I suspect the diet would be very much a liquid one although I dare say I am rather impartial to North African food and so if you're thinking of contacting the local kebab house to appease your guests, then I have no qualms whatsoever. Just go easy on the chilli sauce and mayo' and make sure there are plenty of pickled peppers. I'm easily pleased and quite the cheap date these days.

I like Trellis, enjoy being grumpy and so let me be grumpy. I have my views and you have yours.
I have a fair chunk of cash invested here so ultimately I want this one to come good. However, these delays are becoming very telling and stink of the dusters I have seen in the past, not just from SOU but other O&G companies too. Dogs like ECHO spring to mind. How the bb has fallen silent over there after an excess of hype coming from a lot of you LTH's. I have never owned a single share in ECHO and even at the current share price I don't feel tempted to buy-in. It has 1.95p written all over it.

I see this bb is descending into chaos once more. Crudehope going from negative to positive in the space of two comments. Trellis going from negative to positive in the space of two comments. I think the sunshine has gotten the better of us all as I crack open another bottle of baby cham after enduring a nasty, prolonged headache from yesterday's drinking exploits when I thought drinking a gallon of Peroni on a dehydrated body was a good idea. It certainly seemed a good idea at the time, but that's usually the case with most things that are bad for you.

I retain my stance with regards to Te-10 and that is that I believe that Parsons et al are harbouring a duster. All of the warning signs for me are there: the lack of communication, the unforeseen delays, the spiralling debt, the confusing body language, the lack of clarity regarding the coiled tubing arriving to site, the mismanagement of expectations.

I think that things are very fast getting desperate for them all at Sevenoaks and they have put themselves into a very tight corner that they are finding harder and harder to break out of.

The only hope I hold on to is that should we forge ahead with a Te-11, that by the time the environmental permit has been agreed and a suitable drill location finalised, that they would have learnt enough about where and how not to drill in order to deliver some much needed success with their 3rd and final penalty kick.

I have been right about my recent predictions regarding SOU and I would be surprised if this time around I am wrong. I believe we'll all witness a single digit share price before not too long, so don't moan and groan if/when that happens because I have already mentally prepared for it.

I get more enjoyment knowing that Trellis is being pampered by a female this Easter Bank Holiday rather than Nurse Kevin. I just hope and pray that Wannabe Number 5 doesn't catch wind of this and cracks-open the red wine vinegar. The only remaining bottles of something left in the forever depleting Ellis Cellars. The wine merchants are going to have a field day when Richard leaves hospital and is reunited with his beloved cellar. I just hope they have a large enough delivery van for what will be a record month of sales for them. P.s., save a bottle of CNDP for the Chuckles.

I think that should the Eastern Moroccan assets LE be a decent enough one, in the most part, people will be happy to have a second bite at the cherry over at SM for doing nothing than having to wait. Didn't BM say there was potentially 11.1 TCF over at SM under the salt seal? That surely has to be worth going after, but only once we have gouged ourselves on the LE. Our bank accounts need to feel the love again - especially mine after the MYSQ debacle.
