Steady the horses! James has already confirmed that "ongoing operations" refers to Te-10 and that an announcement regarding Te-11 will take place once Te-10 has concluded and only once Te-10 has concluded.

Nothing more to say at this stage, so don't think it necessarily points towards a LE timeline. It's cute language used in an attempt to sex-up the share price IMO. Chillax.

I see Shaungreen is at it again. Upsetting fellow posters with his utterances in order to make him appear more knowledgeable than others. At least from time to time I contribute some thought provoking posts. All you really want to do is wind people up and spout "£2.50 per share" in the hope that one day your dream will become a reality. I really hope we do manage to achieve a figure around that level, if anything to silence you.

On the subject of which, has anybody seen or heard from Luca's baby? It was last seen sniffing glue behind the bike sheds.

I believe thing will pan-out as follows:

The Eastern Moroccan assets will be sold-off first and shareholders will be paid a special dividend. Looking at the various "back-of-fag-packet" calculations being bandied around on this bb at the moment, I believe it is fair to say that a lot of people' expectations appear to be around the price per share being £1.50 minimum and anything above this would be even better (typically in the £2-£3 per share bracket). Unless Te-10 is absolutely stonking, I can't see the price per share being higher than this, but I am always prepared to be pleasantly shocked if JP manages to work his magic.

JP knows that the share price didn't really go much beyond £1. I think from memory it reached £1.02 at its highest ever peak. That means at the LE Party, there should realistically be nobody in the room that has bought-in higher than £1. So at £1.50 the worst case scenario is that you would have made 50% increase on your original investment. There's no bank account out there that can deliver those sort of results.

Also, there were some II purchases at around the 80p level if memory serves me correct. I suspect that they will want to see a decent enough return on their investment. Once again, a minimum LE price per share of £1.50 almost delivers a 100% return on their initial investment so I can't see there being many glum faces in the room should that be achieved.

Let us not forget that there is also a price that can be put on seismics and the work that is being carried out at present by BM and the team to identify future potential drill site locations. BM mentioned at the BB event that there would be around 12 new drill sites identified by around early April time. I suspect since then they have managed to further analyse the seismic data and have discovered even more potential sites and have also learnt more information about the underlying geology, which any would be buyer would be DELIGHTED to receive as part of the package.

So what of Sidi? I believe this is where Soundnewco comes into play. I suspect that JP will leave Sound Energy once the LE has been successfully delivered and that JJ Traynor will become the new CEO. We will all be asked to vote on what takes place in terms of going after Sidi - whether that means we get shares in the Newco for every share that we had in SoundOldco (probably not on a 1 for 1 basis / like for like basis) or whether we substitute part of our special dividend that is paid to each of us in order to stay in the game. I favour the former scenario so that we aren't penalised in any way for receiving our special dividend upon the successful sale of the Eastern Moroccan assets.

I can see us with a farm-in partner commit to a 2-3 drill campaign over at Sidi once some more detailed seismics have been conducted in order to properly identify the chosen drill sites. Expect at least one fund raise

Are you suggesting I am shorting? I have never shorted any share or wouldn't know how to and that's me being 100% honest. I wouldn't describe Shell as "racing away". They will do as they so please and at a pace the best suits them and not necessarily CLNR. CLNR are playing lapdogs to Shell from now on.

I have been very explicit about what I think about CLNR in recent posts. I believe a raise is coming in the short term. On the contrary, I have also admitted that if you're able and willing to hold for the long term (2-3 years from now) then CLNR looks quite compelling, assuming that Shell decides to go ahead with some actual drilling in 2021 and goes on to discover gas in the TCF's.

I cannot comment about A1M1's £100m mcap comment. That is something you will need to quiz him about. Mind you, I have seen a load of fantastical mcap calculations over on other bb's for other shares in my time. In short, only success at the drill bit will see this company reach an mcap anywhere near that. I would say that about any oil and gas exploration company.

The current issue here is that CLNR needs money and drilling isn't going to happen here for quite a while. Two things that are red flags in my book: a shortage of money and now drill results / lack of regular news flow. As I have said, if you are happy to hold for a few years then I suspect you'll get a decent enough return on your investment, but I'd personally be looking to spend my money elsewhere at the moment e.g. on SOU who should be having their Liquidity Event at some point this year and as close as late Summer.

Glad to hear that you are a trapped bear. I know what that feels like having been one for over three years here at CLNR. Let's hope that you graduate towards being a trapped bull in the interim then.

You haven't answered my question. Are you a trapped bull? And thank you for sharing your eroticism on this bb. All this talk of "lube" and "giving and/or receiving" must be exciting your meagre mind. I'm sorry to shatter you fantasy, but I haven't and won't be partaking in any of those sort of antics.

So the hot topic of the day appears to be, at what price do people think the discounted placing will be? I'd say 1.95p, which will be the catalyst for the share price further dropping to around the 1.65p level, which it was around November last year. History always has a nasty habit of repeating itself as of late. However, I agree with A1M1 in that a placing now would surely be beneficial for the company and any true LTH's as oppose to farming-out a share of the asset and losing some of the perceived value.

Which leads me back to my original question, Evenstevens. Are you a trapped bull, or indeed a trapped bear? Just before I exited this share, I admitted on here that I was a trapped bear and even explained that on the next rise I would jump ship, which I duly did. I managed to get out at just shy of 5p, which in hindsight was a great move and very well timed as it was fairly short lived.

Are you a trapped bull, Evenstevens? No need to get emotional on this bb. We are all entitled to our opinions at the end of the day. I have mine and you have yours and A1M1 has his.

It's important not for us to confuse what the share price may be post Te-10 results with what the eventual LE price per share could be. With the share price having dipped to 11p in recent times, it is probably fair to say that there will be many investors who elect to derisk their investments on any share price rise. For those that were lucky to get in at 11p will probably see a 3-4 bag on their investment and for some, that will be enough and for others they will take some money and leave some in for the LE.

There will probably be some short term confusion too with regards to whether or not we will be going on to drilling Te-11, coupled with the uncertainty as to how long it will take to get the company sold, assuming it will be a whole company sale and not an asset sale. I personally still think it will be an asset sale and we will receive a special dividend payment plus shares in SoundNewco, which we will all be asked to vote on.

The LE share price? We are all hoping for as much as we can get, but realistically anything over £1.50 seems good for me and any more would be fantastic. This is where JP needs to work his magic and I do believe that he has deal making in his DNA. There is no question in my mind that he is an excellent salesperson having been one myself. He also possesses a lot of eloquence, which doesn't grow on trees these days. You can't teach eloquence. You either have it or you don't and James has it in spades.

The market is hungry for results and good ones at that. Good results IMO will see the share price head merrily towards 40p-50p and poor results will probably see us around 9p-11p.

Well I'm afraid to say that this now stinks of an imminent placing sub 2p, I agree with A1M1 in his post timed at 07:56am this morning. It sums up where I think this share is currently at in terms of share price. I personally believe that if the BOD elects to delay on getting the raise done and dusted, they will only have to be doing it at a much more discounted rate than they perhaps could have done if they had for example done it this week. And I agree that they don't have a lot of skin in the game, so I suspect aren't all that worried about things at this stage in time and are more concerned about where the money is going to come from that they need to plough-on through with projects and operations for the remainder of this year.

My reckoning would be that we will see 1.95p soon with a slowish and steady decline down to the 1.65p level. I know many of you trapped bulls will probably disagree with me, but I have seen this type of scenario occurring many times before.

Not necessarily, bud. They haven't even formally announced a drill location for Te-11. I have to admit, when I read that paragraph, I thought, "ahh so whoever buys us doesn't have to apply for the permit in order to drill, which is a good thing." It doesn't automatically mean that we will go on to drill Te-11. I think JP has sort of covered off both scenarios in one paragraph without giving too much information away at this crucial stage of our journey. It's altogether another piece of the jigsaw puzzle that has slotted very nicely into place.

I would like us to have a stab at the Paleozoic but should Te-10 turn out to be commercial, I rather doubt we will be going ahead with another drill.

Until I see the flow rates, I'm keeping my fez firmly on my head. SOU has let us down before and talked up a well e.g. Badile for it only to go pear shaped. It's time now for Parsons et al to show us what they are made of. God knows we have waited long enough for some good news.

The market has seemed to say, "meh" to the recent RNS too and probably for the same reasons as I have detailed above. I.e., that only a successful result and commercial flow rates will have a positive effect on the share price. We have had three dusters in a row, so I am personally not surprised that the share price is still a teenager.

You guys continue with your positive chit chat, but I will await the results. I do however acknowledge that the Environmental Approval sign-off was very positive and good for SOU and good for any wannabe buyer. In fact, I would have been more than happy if they had just reported on that.

The recovering gas to surface is all well and good but the gas has to flow at a commercial rate, which we all know has been defined as 1.5-2mmscf. That doesn't sound a lot really and maybe the bar has purposely been set very low so they can just get the well ticked off as another commercial find. I dunno what to think right now and it's a shame to see that the wider market has fallen a bit out of love with Parsons and won't buy into the hype until real, palpable results are released that show what we have at Te-10 is worth its weight in.....well gas. Only time will tell and I guess not too long to find out where we stand with things given the forthcoming AGM.

Share price plummeting, allowing some more trapped bulls / bears to exit before further losses are incurred. Raise at sub 2p highly likely now as BOD has been too slow on the uptake. They will probably have to do a raise at a much lower share price than they would have liked. Don't say I didn't say this.

A raise sub 2p wouldn't surprise me in the short term. Funds need to be raised and probably at a discount based on today's share price.
